Efty announced that it acquired a company called DomaHub, a domain name management and sales platform. The acquisition news was announced in a blog post published this morning by Efty Co-Founder @Doron Vermaat. The acquisition price was not shared by either company, but I was told that DomaHub has a couple hundred customers.

I had not heard of DomaHub prior to the announcement, but it appears to have a similar offering to Efty – a domain name management platform with lead generation landing pages and a domain name marketplace offering. Like Efty, DomaHub charges customers to use the platform and management tools rather than charging a commission for domain name sales. From what I can tell, it looks like Efty acquired DomaHub to bolster its customer base rather than to acquire technology.

In order to continue managing their domain names, DomaHub users will need to migrate their accounts to Efty. From today’s blog post:

“To make sure all users will get more features, functionality, and access to our exciting roadmap of developments we will transition all DomaHub users over to Efty.

All existing DomaHub members can migrate their DomaHub portfolio to Efty by simply using the Export to CSV feature that has been enabled within their account today. DomaHub Premium members will be given a free, 1-year upgrade to our Growth plan.”

DomaHub was founded in 2016 by Wonmin Lee and Wonkyu Lee. The two co-founders of DomaHub have not joined Efty post-acquisition.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Since some members here are bothered about my opinion, here it is: I think this a great fit and it'll be interesting to see how @Doron Vermaat will integrate the already developed features of DomaHub into Efty platform.

I'll be also interested in tracking the future growth of Efty with this acquisition.

Question though; Will this acquisition help position Efty along side larger aftermarket players?

Can you spill the beans about any of these upcoming features :xf.smile:. Any chance of a sneak peek to existing efty customers ?

What I can share for now is that users can expect a big update for the marketplace feature within the next few weeks. When possible, I sometimes share a sneak peek on my personal Twitter so make sure to follow me there :)
