strategy Identifying a trend - "Trans + word" Domain Assets

There was a professional appraisal that hit my desk today for evaluation and I found it very interesting once I started to dissect the data.
Asset Type:
Brandable / Two-word-merge / Psychological Influence
Note: There's some interesting sales data for assets starting with "Trans". There are 10 pages of Trans assets, but the oldest sales report is 2017. That means that we may have stumbled onto a low pulse trend. Depending on how many are developed would tell us if its a reseller hyped trend or an actual end-user branding trend. The bad news, is that that the consistency of value for similar comparisons is low, however, I think most of those are between investors looking to resell again. The good news is that this trend (hyped or not) is steady, meaning you have a little bit of current market liquidity on your side until the trends bubble pops.
Opinion:
There is plenty of demand it seems for Trans at the beginning or at the end of a brand name (As seen in a "Trans Logo" keyword search in Google Images.

While I do think the majority of the Trans + word sales are investor/reseller related, yours has the slight advantage of the psychological play/merge with velocity and the current trending Trans market value based on the consistent pattern we uncovered in sales data above.

If you look at the definition of Trans, you can see all the different directions it can go. There's no shortage of potential end-users

The words starting with "trans" are universal words in all languages. When you say transport, transit, transsexual in any country people understand meaning of those words correctly without looking up a dictionary. None of the posters above have noticed and counted this in their analysis.
That’s a good observation and gave me the idea to google: etymology of "trans"

So according to wiktionary the etymology is:

Borrowed from Latin trāns (“across, on the far side, beyond”).

One of it’s three meanings is:

Across, through, over, beyond, to or on the other side of, outside of.

(The other two are chemistry and transgender meanings.)

https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/trans-

StackExchange has some great expert comments such as:

Another example: transport. Trans+portare in Latin, meaning to carry (portare c.f. portage, porter) across. Hence transport.

https://english.stackexchange.com/q...tymology-of-some-words-using-the-prefix-trans

So “trans” is very likely to mean much the same thing in the European languages because of their Latin origins. An example from Wiktionary of a Spanish word is: transnacional

That's an interesting observation. Adding a Country of end user asset owner variable might prove interesting as to which country is investing in trans assets the most and for which meaning trans is most popular in a specific country. Might help for better audience targeting too. 😁

Transfer and transportation should be the most global and hence the most popular ones. Pronunciation may differ a little. You may look up those words in G translate.

As to your which countries question, I think the countries with economy that's heavily dependent on foreign trade. So, almost all countries, especially the ones using latin alphabet. However English is the language of global trade regardless of alphabet.

I think the power of "trans" comes from this factor. Some of the most popular words of the World start with "trans".

Ok so the appraisal was for TransVelocity which even has volume: 2,740,000/mo

What would you do with this domain to get the most out of it?
