Does anyone have a tool to find out the renewal rate of any NGTLD?

This would work fine for normal registrations. But I wonder if it would work for premium domains. I'll try to find a couple of premium domains, and try to find out if it works.

Nope. It only gives the regular renewal rates. Al least for the first one I tried.

You can try to transfer the domain (even if it is not yours) and invent a fake auth-code.
This will lead you to ddot-checkout and you'll see the right price. And then you delete the domain transfer of course (which wouldn't succeed anyway, because you enterred a wrong auth-code).
This only works with domains that are not registerred at dynadot.

What I am interested in is for LLL.tv-domains that are in pending delete status. Should I register such a domainname or even backorder ? There I don't know how to know if it's registry premium.
Is there somewhere a list with .tv-premiumprices (LLL.TV) ???
Anyone who knows, how/where I can find that, please PM me.

There are a lot of LLL.TV dropping on Dynadot. At,what is it, $29.99 (or something close to that), I don't see a great upside for these domains, in the near future. I believe, this is a swansong, not a resurgence in LLL.TV. IMHO.

Welcome Bulloney to the thread, he wants to know your favorite tool. He just loves HosterStats and me.

One of my favorite critics JB Lion recommended HosterStats about six months ago, and it means more to me than other tools I use like GD's Valuation/Analysis, Namebio and Google. HosterStats tells me how many times a domain has been registered, for how long, who hosted it, when it was dropped, when it was renewed. While there are times I really like the fact it was registered before, ironically there are times that I like that it was never registered. For example, I was looking to add to my Idiom domain portfolio a few hours ago when I searched the idiom "Down The Hatch" it was taken, but I started playing with the name, and in a few minutes came up with "Down The Catch" GoDaddy valued the name at $1,431, and while I don't put much faith in GD Valuations I decided to check it out on HosterStats. Guess what.... no one ever registered it:xf.smile::xf.frown:. Then I checked to see if "Down The Hatch" had ever been registered, and I learned it had been continually registered for 19 years since 2000 and never developed....now that's a "hoarder" for you. I actually liked the fact that "Down the Catch" had never been registered making it a true domain creation/origination and I plan to use that when I sell this name to an "end user"

I just luv HosterStats....sometimes you need to read between the lines, but it's still a great tool. What's yours?

I use Uniregistry under domain transfer. It lets you bulk check the renewal rates on any new ngtld name (including premium) without messing with auth codes. Simply type in the names you want to check and then hit next a few times, it shows you the renewal rates you will need to pay to transfer. Then you can simply click to delete each name from the list or just hit the back button.

If the name is currently regged at uniregistry then just use GoDaddy domain transfer instead. It lets you do the same thing only just one name at a time.

I meant above for domains that are not registerred at Dynadot.
For domains registerred at Dynadot, you can try transfer to another registrar with a fake auth-code : there are 2 possibilities : it immediately recognizes it as fake, or it doesn't and let you go to checkout (where you see the price, and still can cancel your transfer, even if it isn't your domain).
Try some reistrars, with this trick, and put them here i this thread.

Ironically, Brad of DataCube had read this before the thread was closed and told me he actually owns the domain DownTheHatch.com. How funny is that:ROFL:

Oh, here are the stats on "DownTheHatch" from 2000 to today....SavorPeace™, David
