I am dropping some domains because I realized I probably should have never registered them. There are a few domains that I am uncertain about keeping - I will list them below. Please let me know if you think there are any keepers here. In advance, I would like to thank anyone who takes the time to comment. All of the names are in .com.

Meet2Nite
MensOnlineShop
EstateTaxRates
FindGoodMovies
FileYourOwnTaxes

@blue crystal - mentioned this in another post you offered an appraisal on - that didn't seem to make sense, at least to me.

I am struggling on your price quotes here as well. Could you please offer of detail in what you are basing your estimates on? What valuation data points are you including to come to these prices?

1) if the extension is .com or something else
2) if the words that compose the domain are used with a certain frequency
3) if the word is easy to memorize
4) if the domain name is short, long, etc.
5) if it relates to some profitable business
etc

By the way, try to appraise my own domains in my post ( GenesScience.com )
Let me check out your method.

Meet2Nite - $xx - dating is huge, its brandable, but its iffy. That's on the same page as saying ''dating4u'' is good site, rather than ''Dating4You''

MensOnlineShop high $xx - I believe a brandable business is better than a generic one.

EstateTaxRates - mid $xxx - Good keywords, could make for a good site to develop with good SEO. Have to be on top of the game though.

FindGoodMovies - reg fee, oversaturated niche, IMDB and other popular list sites do this. Tube site is risky and usually people don't use .com's for those :xf.smile:

FileYourOwnTaxes - mid $xxx, good keywords that can be made into a business or a good helpful site with affiliate links and adsense.

I'm not saying anyone is wrong here - but typically:

if it's an English word/s (keyword/s) they have to be used properly - otherwise you are (likely) hoping typo traffic is good enough - it's not.

Genes Science - is not correct. 1 I am not sure "Gene Science" is a technical term - Gene research is super intellectual, filled with Dr., Pharma Co. etc.. They would be the target - do you think it's a good fit for that market? Can you see big pharma using a mis spell/mis grammer, name?

2. Genes -should be spelt Gene's now it has really morphed into some guy named Gene who is presented in possessive form of Science - hope that makes sense.

Also, if there is a # in place of a word - it's probably of no value. Drongy. is prob on tract in terms of being closer to price (IMO), but getting to the sale is the hard part.

Best of luck

Here is an example of a web site using the expression "genes science":
https://www.shutterstock.com/search...base_related_searches&page=2&section=1&noid=1
One can put any object that can be studied by science before the word science. For instance if the object is rocket then you say "rocket science". If the object is brain then you say "brain science" and so on and it is perfectly correct. Just google these examples.
