Hi guys...

Let's play a small game. There are 3 questions each of us answer:

1) What is your best domain?
2) How much do you think it is worth?
3) Why do you think it would fetch you that amount?

The idea here is to remove the biases that we all have towards the domain name that we own.
I have been overly optimistic about many of the domain names that I owned, and that gives a false picture when we approach an end user or an end user approaches us. Ultimately, we end up losing a sale which could have fetched up, say mid xxx to low xxxx or maybe more.

So yeah, lets go ahead! Be a sport! Participate! And let's learn together!

I think DigitalExchange.com is great! Mid 5 figures to Low 6 figures is about right.

FractionEX.com Worth $5k and above. Fractional Assets buying and selling will be Huge in Future.

ZeroToSuperhero.com

I could probably get 5k for it because it relates to fitness, superheros or success in general.

  • Wellness.Homes
  • This is one of my favorites in my portfolio and which i believe has the potential to fetch anywhere in the $xxx, xxx .
This is a simple, succinct and powerful domain.

We live in a wellness conscious world today and the wellness real-estate industry has been growing drastically, with many big players already well invested in it.
Apparently it was $134 billion in 2017 and is estimated to be $180 billion by 2022.

I also believe it's inevitable that all global real estate brands will have to adapt and venture into this space, considering this is where Smart Home,Wellness and Tech(AI/Machine Learning etc) converge.

For instance, wellness real estate and technology company 'Delos', recently launched 'DARWIN' a 'Home Wellness Intelligence' platform.

1) Fueliciency.com - The art of being efficient in fuel usage = fuel efficiency
2) $$ Because, it is a very widely used word combination in the news (economy) and also Industry.
3) I forgot the third question ;)

I own iwebsites.com I believe it could sell for $50,000 to over $1 million depending on the buyer. The year I bought the name website.com sold for $750,000 and websites.com sold for $975,000. The name mywebsite.com recently sold for $75,000. Who knows?

I’m a great believer that anything is worth what someone is willing to pay

ARCryptocurrency.com

Got a low £x,xxx offer on the table at the moment, so right now it’s my most valuable domain.

Thinkpad is the name of a product, and they just call it that, it is their brand. "smart clock" is a generic category, like "digital watch" or "blue shoes" or "smart washing machine".

Their product is called "Lenovo Smart Clock", they always use Lenovo at the front because it they tell people it is called "Smart Clock" and someone searches for that they could get any brand's version of a smart clock. They aren't likely to be interested in smartclock.com just like they aren't interested in laptop.com. It has no brand value.

I am probably the least experience person on here in regards domains and I even know about domain forwarding.

Why someone would buy it? Internet websites? Look at your offer (if any), that the value.

This joke? You said no?

No joke, a final negotiation was agreed upon with me and the buying party. This was Dec 2017 and was for $16,500. The deal fell through last minute, buyers partner got cold feet. Although now I am ok with it, since I just sold TokenFaucet.com for $21,000, and TokenCap is a much stronger domain. The one I have received most offers on.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The sales are made when both the seller and the buyer have the same beauty in their eyes :)

Both of mine are websites and not just domains. Wibbets.com has potential to be used as a betting or tech site also similar in name to an existing company. Would not take less than 10k for it. Basketballrehab.com current basketball blog has a couple major media companies monitoring it as a acquisition target. Probably would need at least 20 k to be tempted.

Really and how do you justify this to buyer or even find one for that matter. Dreaming your going to have to lower margins.

Honestly I'm happy to let the one site get acquired and keep the other as a parent site or potentially transition it to sports betting. I have two potential buyers for basketball site based on high level of twitter reach and high income niche of fans in basketball analytics. I'm in no hurry to sell either so will gladly wait for the right number.
