Hi, i would like to have an appraisal. How much does it worth and what is the top way for appraising domains? Those i know show too much differences, so i don't know what to really use.
Best,
Francis

dog - great keyword
dogs - good keyword
supply - good keyword
stuff - random and generic
store - great keyword
tobuy - unaesthetic term

Sorry mate, but it's looking like a very patchwork-ish domain, trying to combine as many keywords as possible. A good domain name is centered to its topic. If you were an expert in this niche and therefore a potential buyer, would you buy it yourself?
You may always ask yourself this before registering a name. Cheers and best of luck nonetheless!

Thanks for your answer. I'm brand new to the industry, so not perfect yet. What about seolearners (dot)com?

Hi Francis,

There's not one great method for appraising domains, but generally you can get a good sense of a name's value by examining a number of factors:
  • Is the name in .com (.com is generally the most popular and valuable extension, and the easiest to sell)
  • Is the name taken in other extensions? Are they being used by businesses?
  • Is the keyword combination one that companies target for paid advertising (i.e. on Google)?
  • Do similar keyword combinations have a promising and recent sales history? (Check namebio)
  • Is the name unique and meaningful enough that no other relevant, cheaper options exist for potential buyers?
  • Does the name represent a product, service, or call-to-action phrase that is sold/promoted/used by many companies?
If your name hits on several (or all) of these factors, then you likely have yourself a decent domain name.

I the case of DogStuffToBuy.com, I don't see much value beyond registration fee. The one thing it has going for it is that it's quite clear and literal; no one will wonder what the website offers! But beyond that, it's a name that says, "I didn't want to spend much money on my domain name."

It's not taken or used in other extensions. And Namebio shows no history of names selling that begin with "DogStuff".

Additionally, if I were really sold on a name like this, I could hand register BuyDogThings.com

Hope that helps! Keep reading and learning on here.
