Just wondering what the general thoughts are about whether the recent trend to legalize marijuana will boost the prices of pot-related domains?

Just curious if anyone on here grabbed Hempna. Com yesterday on GD expired auctions?

That's not enough reason to go on rampage with "420"
With the proceeds earned form my above referenced URL sales I was able to...:

- Remodel my home;
- Pay off my new vehicle;
- Renew my domain name portfolio holdings;
- Enjoy many, many Happy Hours.....

Hence, reason enough for me...

Happy 420...!!!

I hope China does that, such a big market!
Do find it interesting that China has a long history of using herbs in their medicines or treatments..
Well said its been used for thousands of years... if legalisation happens AND its discovered as the cure for cancer then I’ve struck it really big. Both are unknowns because China is so secretive with their research on Cannabis.

Remember the one child policy got scrapped so I’m hopeful for legalisation of cannabis.

I tried to buy dama in com and offered big bucks but the owner either knows of what it means or simply is waiting for a bigger payday. It’s because I gave up that I’m disclosing this.

All referenced URLs were sold around the mid-to-upper, four-figures ($x,xxx) USD - except for one (which sold under).

I think one child policy is very different from cannabis legalisation. The former is related to labour force and country development, while the latter is related to citizens' health and social stability. They are not comparable at all.

Cannabis for medical use is allowed in China, but recreational use of cannabis and the like is still strictly prohibited in China. Though Canada legalises it, the Chinese diplomats in Canada have issued a public letter to Chinese citizens to avoid contact with marijuana (https://www.scmp.com/news/china/soc...zens-against-marijuana-after-canada-legalises). So it is apparent that there are no signs or plans to legalise recreational use of cannabis and the like in China in the near future.

There are many reasons that China does not legalise it. Apart from a sad history about opium and potential health issues of abuse of cannabis, many illegal sellers who sell cannabis also sell drugs such as cocaine. If legalising recreational use of cannabis, citizens can easily contact with those drugs.

Well said. Which in effect means that when the world truly wakes up to its medical benefits (cures cancer) then the world will snowball and legalise it like a domino effect (China included). In the USA it looks like legalisation first then discovering that it cures cancer but for China it may be the other way around. There is nothing detrimental about cannabis apart from impaired driving but alcohol causes the exact same problem. What I am looking at is cannabis being rescheduled in the USA so that real research can be done and when thats allowed I think I’ll have a higher sense of urgency to buy dama in com. If the owner wants to part with it.

I looked up 420day.com today. It is interesting that the owner registered it on 4/20/2004

Cannabis sales are expected to boom on 20th April as its 420 day.

I would adfvise people to be careful with things like this.
White Rhino is a canna strain and could give TM issues later down the line if those who have developed the strain have regged the TM.

Just fyi.

Wouldn't be surprised, if it becomes a national holiday here in Canada before I die..did live long enough to see it legalized.

(Putting on my time traveller hat on) , something like a "National CBD" day..

"About StrainRx

StrainRx is a patent-pending technology platform with the mission of providing trustworthy and educational information on cannabis. It’s meant to help medical marijuana patients unlock the plant’s therapeutic benefits as well as to enable recreational users to create experiences they desire.

We stand behind purposeful and responsible consumption of cannabis and offer a number of useful tools: the ability to identify and obtain strains ideally suited for particular needs, to compare prices, see others’ reviews on products or vendors, or just learn about the history of your favorite strains and what plant-based molecules might be helpful in treating your conditions. Our goal is to give you a way to choose products beyond looking at nearly identical jars of cannabis in a dispensary’s display case. In fact, we hope to facilitate the process so that you know what you want before ever stepping foot in a dispensary (or calling for delivery).

Our recommendation engine asks 4 questions to determine a person’s set of preferences. Based on the answers, a list of strains matching those preferences is generated. Think of this engine as a really smart bud-tender, who knows you personally and is capable of answering all of your questions.

Once our user knows what strains are optimal for their desired outcomes, it is time to go get those strains! StrainRx enables the filtering of our recommendations based on a user's location, so that they could find their favorite buds whenever and wherever they may be.

StrainRx has a number of ways to document strain related attributes and background information. First and foremost, we make it a priority to interview growers, to determine from 1st party sources how each strain was created and for what purpose it was grown. We also power various cannabis competitions and synthesize strain profiles based on panels of qualified judges. To democratize the strain data further, we’ve enabled each strain to take “feedback” from users, where the strain attributes can be modify based on a person’s personal experiences. Modifying the attributes of your favorite strains will not only personalize your own results instantly, but the system will identify and incorporate significant changes automatically, ensuring that the knowledge base is always learning, improving, and reflecting patient preferences over time and on a global scale.

With StrainRx, new as well as experienced patients can discover new strains or strains similar to those they love, read and write reviews, and discover new vendors. The site hosts one of the largest and most frequently updated cannabis databases on the internet and as such it is one of the best places to look up a strain.

While reading the 'About' text I was wondering why they chose the brand name StrainRx; I mean, what does the Rx suffix stand for? Anyone know?

I stand corrected as I have just a little experience when it comes to branding, but I think your name (Strain + Hub) would suit these guys better.

Rx refers to medical prescriptions, and is used to describe Drug Stores.

Thanks I totally agree, not just because it's my name but, it make more sense for a site /(hub) to pick your "strain" out..... and sounds much better.
