I just launched a new blog at FreeSpeech.com that folks might be interested in following.

The 2nd article in particular might be of interest, as ICANN has threatened my participation rights in the RPM PDP (which is chartered to review the UDRP, URS, and other rights protection mechanisms, which I've been a member of for 3 years).

The first article just has some background info:

Happy to get input on other kinds of articles folks would like to read in the future.

Thought of this thread (and the FreeSpeech.com blog) after noticing this #FreeSpeech image on today's NYT article: Julian Assange’s Seven Strange Years in Self-Imposed Isolation

(According to NYT article, the image was the scene outside of the Ecuadorian embassy in London last week)

And post #2, titled "Misuse of ICANN PDP Chair Position to Relitigate Working Group Decisions"

https://freespeech.com/2019/08/05/m...sition-to-relitigate-working-group-decisions/

I hope this demonstrates to all why Phil Corwin of Verisign should be removed as co-chair of the working group. Given the high stakes involved in the URS, now that it's going to be applied to the .org registry, much more public comment and attention is needed on all proposals, to ensure proper due process for registrants.

[I'll create a new thread in the news part of this site for this particular blog article]
