SquadHelp: Have you sold Basic Listings Domains on Squadhelp?

Hi,

Just curious. I was wondering if people have had decent success on selling domains on Squadhelp as a Basic or Basic Plus listings.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
One domain I put up about 2 weeks ago as a "basic plus" has already got 1,400 views. If those are real, then I dont see why that would do worse than say one of my "premium" listings that has only 600 views.

Just saying, if both are getting views, not sure why a "basic plus" could not sell. Still waiting for my first SH sale, but it has only been a few weeks. Right now I have 16 domains both premium and basic plus. Getting 60% acceptance rate so far.

Nice. That is a pretty good acceptance rate. I wonder where the views come from. One of my domains has had more than 4000 views in a few days. Jorbit.com . Just wonder who is seeing these domains and where these basic and basic plus listings are shown up at.

Seems like the Premium listings have some success, but I don't think I have yet to see someone post about a domain that has sold under the Basic or Basic Plus listings. Can anyone confirm?

It seems to me like Basic Plus just give you an advantage to submitting your domains to Domain Contest which in most cases are between $100-$200. And if the sale is made through direct linking then it you pay 25% commission.

Basic just eliminates your ability to submit to contest and they charge 15%. Undeveloped does this for 9%. I am just wondering where all the views come from on Squadhelp.

they probably come from nowhere... or maybe knowhere.

The view count on SH is not for unique visitors or maybe it just registering search impressions, I moved domain to SH last week, it has now over 400 views, I am positive this domain receives no more than 75 hits a month!.

I was wondering the same thing, any sales when domains listed as Basic or Basic Plus?
Views are way to high both for basic and premium listings which I believe is mostly due to bot traffic.
I'm trying to justify my choice of listing as Basic Plus some of the names that have been rejected as premium, surely the ability to submit in contests might be seen as a plus but I highly doubt someone who is willing to pay $100 to get a name idea will spend four figures for your Basic Plus domain?

What I am doing now is putting domains up on SH as "basic plus" and watching them for a few days. At some point I will try to upgrade to Premium. If they get rejected I will move them off and submit them to another branding platform.

I REALLY like SH, but I got a feeling that "basic plus" for pure domain sales might not be much better than putting up a lander of your own on undeveloped, sedo or something similiar.

We need a clarification as to how "basic plus" for domain sales is better than a regular lander elsewhere.

I am not interested in the contest aspect at this point, just pure domain sales.

Almost forgot:

How many of you have "basic plus" domains with a shortlist count ? I am not asking about names submitted to contests or something like that. Just domains you listed that are NOT premium but ARE showing shortlist numbers ?

I can tell you this...

If it's under basic, you're better off putting them elsewhere. Basic is just nothing more than an overpriced "nice" landing page.

If it's under basic plus, it's meant for contests. They will 'only' start showing shortlist numbers if you get shortlisted from a contest holder.

View counts are all inflated far worse than undeveloped

Yeah, I agree, as I mentioned above, what I do now is put them as "basic plus" for a week, fill out the info for them to get an excellent rating and watch traffic, then submit them to "upgrade" to premium.

If they are rejected, then I delete them from SH and try them on Brandpa, then Namerific. If they fail all 3 then I just put them up on all the usual selling platforms.

Looks like Basic and Basic Plus might be a waste of time for pure domain sales for full price.

I have heard that Brandpa's sales are dropping. Any truth behind this?

I have 2 Basic Plus listings with shortlist counts that are not from contest and both are now searchable in the premium marketplace.
