Democrats gas lighting about the electoral college. Unsurprisingly, Gillibrand also opposes due process.

✔@SenGillibrand

Our democracy is built on the principle of one person, one vote. It can't function until we restore that principle. It's time to abolish the Electoral College

These are the real dictators, not Pres. Trump. Our republic was designed to prevent mob rule. Eliminating the electoral college could destroy it.

45 would never be granted a security clearance. Even a low-level one. This is a fact.

100% Agree.
Putin wouldn't even grant Trump security clearance even if he was a Russian....wait, is Trump a Russian? Hhmmm.

Here’s a thought: how about if in order to be eligible to run for office as president or vice president, you needed to prove yourself eligible for a security clearance ?
Show attachment 114441

(And maybe pass a high school civics test...)
You would think that would be required, how the hell it isn't is shocking.

It just goes to prove the old saying, Anyone can be President....even a Traitor.

haha, this con man.

The Republicans are developing a really great HealthCare Plan. Guess when we can see it?

Everybody agrees that ObamaCare doesn’t work. Premiums & deductibles are far too high - Really bad HealthCare! Even the Dems want to replace it, but with Medicare for all, which would cause 180 million Americans to lose their beloved private health insurance. The Republicans.....

....are developing a really great HealthCare Plan with far lower premiums (cost) & deductibles than ObamaCare. In other words it will be far less expensive & much more usable than ObamaCare. Vote will be taken right after the Election when Republicans hold the Senate & win......

....back the House. It will be truly great HealthCare that will work for America. Also, Republicans will always support Pre-Existing Conditions. The Republican Party will be known as the Party of Great HealtCare. Meantime, the USA is doing better than ever & is respected again!

If Trump wins the Election and has total control of Congress.

They had 2 years to get a plan together - didn’t happen then, they don’t have one now.

I can’t think of anyone who calls their insurance “beloved.” Insurance is a PITA. They charge you a lot of money and make you jump through hoops to get any of it back as reimbursement... if they don’t deny the claim.

ACA premiums wouldn’t have gone up if the GOP hadn’t sabotaged it. But it still covers pre-existing conditions, has an annual maximum out of pocket amount, and there is some control over premium discrepancies and increases.

Take it away with no replacement and besides people with pre existing conditions losing coverage, premiums and deductibles will go through the roof. Especially for anyone between 50 and 65.
You are both correct, and they don't have a plan yet Trump just said about an hour ago that they do have a healthcare plan and that their new plan is so great that even the Dems would love it yet he is goiing to now wait to reveal it after the 2020 election.......:xf.laugh::ROFL::xf.laugh::ROFL::xf.laugh::ROFL:

Trump was born to tell lies!

But if the Trump and Republicans did actually have a plan and if it really was better and kept pre-existing conditions and it was a lower price that the $1700 monthly premium I have now for me and my wife then then Hell Yes I would love it and truly be thankful and give them all the credit in the world! (y)

But they don't so nothing to see here so lets just move on :xf.frown:

And yes that is what my actual premium cost every month, we only pay about half because of subsidies but that is still way too much. But what other choice is there?
Without Obamacare then we would have to pay the whole $1700 a month >:(

This is where you hit him at. This is one topic where Dems easily win. Healthcare is a big issue for many, Republicans have nothing after all these years. Trump is truly a joke with what he's been saying about this.

My individual is about half that.
I unfortunately make too much to get a subsidy (but not by much.)
ACA does keep the deductible from being outrageous, covers what it needs to cover, and limits potential annual out-of-pocket. From that standpoint it was worse before ACA, but it still sucks.

On that subject ... I like this a lot better than the "medicare for all" proposals. Unfortunately, old turtle man will probably block any voting on it in Senate...

My wife is getting her Medicare next month so I will require individual health insurance but I will probably have to drop it all together because it wont be a whole lot less then what we pay now and we will also have to pay her medicare premium and her supplemental premium so I am not going to pay $1000 a month for 3 premiums >:(

I like this part of the Medicare X proposal -
"Under those changes, individuals would pay no more than 13 percent of their income toward their insurance premiums for a standard health plan."

One of the original concepts of ACA was that nobody would have to pay more than x% of their income on premiums. HOWEVER, that became "not pay more than x% of your income unless your MAGI (which includes a lot of stuff that your AGI does not) is more than 4x the poverty level". So just outside of the ACA "safety net" is a big cliff.

Hopefully you'll be eligible soon? I'm a few years away from it and the thought of going without scares me - health stuff is such a crapshoot and add to that the ridiculous fees and drug prices here...
