I'm completely new to this topic and the little I've read/heard about CBD suggests that it's not dangerous. Do you have any information to the contrary?

I don't want to go into off topic discussion about this, you can google about it you will find loads of info, but I want to say the following:

CBD is a drug that was originally used for Epilepsy and some neurological disorders!
It is not for people with normal mental & neurological health!
Suddenly it became consumable like tea!
It is a drug it .. you should not consume drugs like you consume tea!
Even Panadol you should only use it when you need it .. do not consume Panadol as you consume tea!

The buyer had that type of budget and the domainer played it right. If the buyer has made $20 million from that industry then spending 500k on a top domain is the right way forward which will make him another $40 million much quicker. Domaining seems to be all about budgets and perspective. Congrats to both of them.

As much as I love domaining, I never stop thinking about how some weird and useless names achieve such high prices and the sellers are the same bunch of Royals of the domaining world. I'm not by any means suggesting that CBDOIL was not worth the 500k but what trade can wash your dirty money as easy as domaining.
