The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I think the question. "Do you boycott businesses that takes your money and then let's a lot of trolls ruin the reason you joined" is a question I am really considering right now.

the problem here is:
that when a company disappears
- maybe others or more sensitive to "trolls" -
you will have a hard time to collect your names

As Israeli, sometimes some people don't want to make business with me because I am "A Zionist bacteria" and I never try to hide it and NEVER do business with people that think that or have issues with my country. My family burned to death during the Holocaust and I know how hate can lead to bad things so I will never boycott people if they have a different POLITICAL opinion but if they can't recognize with my right to live and be Israeli they can go and F*** themselves.

I don't care to whom you pray
as long as you don't promote hate and violence

it's your business
what you think will happen when you are dead
and what you think about
of how you have to behave in this life
in order to achieve a better life after death
-if that exists at all-

none of my concern
-as long as you don't preach hate-

we all will meet in the same area after dead
no matter who was right

I guess TWO rob thread weren't enough drama. We needed this third one for more fun? :tightlyclosedeyes:

Tbh, as long as a company's employees aren't actively in support of something legit illegal, like racism. I have no problemo taking advantage of their $0.01 .com promo or their $4 renewal / transfer prices.

I am not in favor of boycotting, if I don't like their political beliefs and I find it off-putting, I will simply stop doing business with them and leave it at that. The way I view Boycotting is more or less a person or group of people trying awfully hard to silence companies and prevent them from going any further with their message or beliefs by turning off potential customers. It's ugly in my opinion.

Mostly, I am looking for a competitive pricing, good service, login security, and a decent interface.

Yes, I would, and I support Epik, which is run by an old friend of mine.

I only boycott companies that are PC.

Needless to day, I find it very hard to buy anything as a result.

BTW speaking of Epik, their system leaves a lot to be desired. Sometimes it can be confusing, but they do have great prices so I have been in the process of moving names into Epik. I can always use the free DNS at NameCheap or Afraid.org if Epik's does not work.

companies should focus on what business they are doing, any political or religious stance just means they aren't doing business with the world. That's all.

that is right so you bite your tongue when you don't have choice. You try not to burn bridges everywhere you go and when do you have choice you deal with who you like. Nothing really to be argumentive about.
I don't call it burning bridges. I call it capitalism, competition and freedom of choice. There's no arguing. Just talking.

Sounds like someone needs to buy boycotters.com, which is for sale and develop it into a platform for this topic...
Best regards,
Chuck

Nope. I don't mix business with politics.
Business is business and for business there is no borders, religions...
Agree...
Business is a business. No need to be connected with political views. We can all do business with anyone, without seeing their political views, while the business is professional and equally profitable.
So I do not agree to boycott domain names from companies that have different political views.
Thank You
