Well for those who follow politics in the UK or EU this might mean something.

The 'GE' is the common abbreviation for 'General Election'.

In the UK we have a law called the 'Fixed Term Parliament Act' ('FTPA'), this means that every 5 years there must be a General Election called (the latest the next General Election can be called is in 2022), however there are mechanisms within the FTPA for earlier elections to be called.

As said above if anyone follows UK politics they will undoubtedly know that the likelihood is that a General Election will be called this year by necessity, we having a totally lame duck Government and a Prime Minister reckoned to be the worst at least since the American War of Independence. The betting odds are that now a General Election will happen this year.

I did check out the 'GE2019 --> GE2022' domains but they are already registered, though even with the most basic of sites developed on these domain names they should form the basis of a lot of visitor traffic in the relevant years.

Anyway quite pleased with these.
