I have been looking at some emoji domains in the appraisal section of the forum.

I had a lot of questions when I saw it. And that makes me wonder:

1) How do I even type this on my keyboard?
2) Who is buying this and how do I even search for it?
3) If there is normal english text representing these, it looks too complex for people to remember. It is like remembering the IP address.
4) There doesn't seem to be any use after so many new gTLDs came into effect.

What do you think? Will emoji domains ever take off?

emoji domains could be a nice addition to a business' .com and their social media platforms & could potentially help with branding. It's a picture medium which attracts and gives it some strength imo

Emojis are disallowed under most TLDs, incl. .com .net etc. as a result of IDNA2008. If they're not allowee it's difficult to see a future for them.

More thought people?

This is a good area! Especially after Page Howe has paid over $9,000 for a domain name(according to an article in read somewhere), I have been thinking about this one!
