Hello everyone!

My name, as you may have guessed by my username, is Bill Campbell. Please ignore the age of my profile as I submit myself to you as "new". I started this profile a couple of years ago and promptly forgot that I had done so. I suffer from shiny object syndrome and I have been easily distracted, which leads to the predicament I am in today.

Over the last 16 years, I have been acquiring domains for my own projects in the hopes of turning a profit by creating genuinely useful sites around the named topics. At the time I really started buying, exact match domains were supposed to be the big thing. I felt like this would be a great way to build targeted, informational websites and communities around these names.

Soon, I had too many and I found myself flailing around trying to half-ass the projects, which of course didn't do anyone any favors. As I grew more desperate, I began just trying to park the domain names in the hopes that would be of some effect. The only thing this ever showed me was that there were at least a few domains that did generate some traffic. This would excite me and I would try to develop these hidden gems, only to become sidetracked again.

In doing research, I stumbled upon the namepros/com community and signed up for an account. Life, other distractions, and the fear of looking like a fool prevented me from revealing myself to the community at that time.

I'm hoping to learn from the community, meet interesting people, and responsibly sell through my domain portfolio so I can concentrate on the few domains that I really want to continue as projects.

Welcome back @IAmBillCampbell, and thanks for the detailed introduction.

I'm hoping to learn from the community, meet interesting people, and responsibly sell through my domain portfolio so I can concentrate on the few domains that I really want to continue as projects.

I can guarantee you will meet the first two objectives and hope you will achieve the third as well!
