Hello
I tried to open my account but Afternic suspended it today , I sold a domain name 10 days ago and its transferred and sale completed , but i didnt get payment for it , yesterday i got sale alert for another domain and they ask me for the Auth code , Domain need 16 days so i can transfer it from Godaddy , I sent them that i can push the domain to your account at Godaddy.com , they told me to push it and i did that .
Iam trying to contact them now ,, to fix that

Will they accept to send money back to any one ask for chargeback ?
If yes this is big problem ,are you sure they are doing this and pay from their money ??
I thought they will not send money for a buyer if he got the domain

well.. I know some markets eat the losses in case of proibems like chargebacks.. and some do not..

I forget if afternic is in former or latter category.. but I think you should know this... by looking at whether they took back your money after they paid you over your 25-30 sales with them so far... for the ones where there were chargebacks.... ?

I got email from Afternic support telling me that the chargeback came from another company listed as a sale partner , in that case Afternic should be between us not against me to reslove the problem,also if any charge back happened it must be from the other company not afternic .

so let me get this straight

you said you made like 25 sales with afternic before.. and then 2 more in the end beofre you got suspended.. so for how mny of those you got paid? and did they ever take back any of those sales money due to chargebacks?

I got paid for all of them , just the last 2 domains 10 days ago , i didnt any email for chargeback in any of them all.

well okay but Joe clearly said that for several of those sales you did in past.. so I assume among the 25 sales... and for which you say you didn't get chargeback emails.. they got charged back the money nonetheless.

which means they lost money. so they can't keep doing this forever.

so no matter who is at fault, this is why they prefer shyut down account.

how much was it average per sale on the 25 sales?

thats still almost 1k per sale.

I have 2 buyers bought 3 domains each maybe the charge back came from one of them or both,
Im searching to know more but i dont know which domain or domains orders got chargeback to know the buyer from .
Thanks alot for your hard work to help and find the problem, i really apercaite that

hmm... I wonder what they'd reply to you if you offered to pay them back for the money they lost on chargebacks for your domains.

not saying it would work.. but maybe you can ask. but you'd probably have to make sure it doesn't happen again in future.. and if you say you have no clue why it happened in the past, then maybe it'll just keep happening again for you. who knows.
