poll Domains vs Crypto

Just domains here.

I just look at the trend line of the majority of crypto currencies between October 2017 until now to see that almost all crypto made a massive nosedive.

Of course there will always be people who make money from crypto. But imo it's a game you need to play with a fair bit of money. And since 2017 lots of people did lose serious money.

I was thinking about doing crypto in 2017, started looking at crypto live chats and seen a comment from a guy who lost all his life savings.

That was enough for me to see crypto can ruin life's in the same way gambling can if you are unlucky enough to invest at the wrong time.

Obviously you can lose a lot of money from domains as well. I just feel I have more control over domains I pick and therefore more of the responsibility can be put on my shoulders for the choices I made.

Searching for new Domain trends brought me to iot domains, I sold one iot domain for 2k and went on searching for iot domains. Then I came across Iota and bought a lot of it from the 2k domain profit. Two months later iota had risen to 5.5 usd. Because I did not pay out at the top, I did not make the full profit, but I made a nice profit. From €6 reg to xxxxx. So crypto and domaining was and is good for me.

No, I Think domaining is the best way.

I recently made the decision to hedge my bets and split my investments 50/50 Crypto/Domains

I’ve kept only my strongest domains and the money I would of spent on renewals over the next 5 years has gone into gaming related Cryptocurrencies which are smashing it right now. I believe Blockchain games/esports will be amongst the first waves that drive wide scale crypto adoption which will be huge for domainers holding names in that category. Tons of partnerships being forged right now. Very exciting!

It's always smart to hedge your bets. I know you do a lot of research into the crypto gaming sector so I am sure if anyone deserves to make money from that specific field it is you.

They are not all strictly gaming coins but my favourites in no particular order.

1. Worldwide Asset Exchange #WAX
2. Enjin #ENJ
3. Naga Coin #NGC
4. Steem #STEEM
5. Tron #TRX
6. Decentraland #MANA
7. Metadium #META
8. Ethereum #ETH

Ripple have serious gaming aspirations as well but I’m not their biggest fan.

I think the poll stats so far are very positive. With so many tech savvy people not invested it reflects that Crypto is still very much in its infancy.

A lot of people have got burned, but it’s looking more and more like gaming Cryptocurrencies will drive mainstream adoption.

There are still company shares to invest in electronicly not exactly old fashioned can pay with crypto.
