How is it that I purchased 4 .Dev's, received a Congrats email that they are mine, an email stating that either I canceled the orders or there was an error after making the purchase and was refunded the funds. They were very good.

Sorry to hear that. Did you inquire at the registrar as to why this occurred?

Thanks for reaching out. No i have not because honestly I wanted to speak with an attorney first. I wrote the attorneys listed on escrow.com but they have not responded. Two of the guys I spoke to at Godaddy mentioned that it seemed fishy. I kid you not.

Good for you. I want to sell them, honestly I have had domains for years and have not done anything with them. I just started buying again and now am ready to learn and make some money. I have about 202 domain names. I like yours. It is my understanding that someone in south carolina purchased Cuba and leased it to our government. $$

I have to be honest, I have never listed anything before and did not know that godaddy was not user friendly and afternic I guess I do not know enough. I called them and the two people I spoke with did not know what afternic was. I explained and after putting me oh hold they had an aha moment. Do you have any suggestions? I have been paying for parking and had NO clue what it was. I thought it was to park the domains only. I have lots of other godaddy products and services and did not do my due diligence.

No sorry, I dont have any ideas regarding your issues. You and the registrar need to discuss this.

What .dev names do you own?

1. Backed by Google is almost irrelevant IMO
2. Dev is very narrow in where it makes sense. IO makes perfect sense and for a more broad spectrum
3. Yes, and so do a billion other extensions
4. Many tech focused companies not on com have already chosen to adopt IO so while Tech may be the future i don't see .dev as a significant part of the future from what I see today.

I'm not much of a fan of it cause it makes no sense to end users. It's good for developers though if they like spending a lot on domains, which most don't.
