In an article on the blog, @James Iles talk about a very nice portfolio.

Jog.com
Future Media Architects owns a substantial amount of short domains, but the only three-letter .COM domain name in our list is Jog.com. This name is one of our favorites from the FMA portfolio because it is a common three-letter word in a lucrative industry, fitness.

According to from Statista, the fitness industry in the United States has a revenue of $3.4 billion in 2018, with jogging being one of the most popular fitness activities. Jog would make a phenomenal brand name in the industry.

I own Jogg / dot / com since many years. Now I want to sell it, to develop some few other projects.
I refused two proposition at 15k, one at 25k. I think this domain is great and have the potential to make 6 figures.

But I have a doubt.

English / American writte "jog" or "jogg"?
"Jogg" could be a good alternative, or is it ruined by "jog" with only one "g"?

Thanks!

Jogg is pretty good but ofcourse not like Jog..
the offers you had 15k to 25k was amazing in my opinion.
in recent market this price is next to impossible..
my appraisal for this name is max 5-10k USD
Thanks

Thanks Riz :)
In DN, it's hard to decide what is amazing, what is a fraud. Prices seem so random.
But you're right : the recent market is disturbing.

I would have accepted those $xx,xxx offers

Agree with Riz, $5k-$10k sounds like the right price

Best of luck (y)

I see jogg/com as brandable and not dictionary word domain. If dictionary - then a typo.
Being a pronounceable 4L, $20k - $40k should be pretty nice end user price.

In domaining, just a character can cost fortune.
user/com sold for 150,000 USD
I have domain userg/com - no single inquiry.

Thanks @maxtra. Luck is the more important ingredient to succeed in domaining :)
A big big startup is founded today with your name, and you can go to the beach the rest of your life.
iWeather dot com is a very very nice domain. Good luck to you too.

You are right @Josytal! Sorry for userg dot com, it's a great dn. I too would have preferred one less "g".

What would you do if you could come back in 2000?
For sure, I'll buy domain names!

If it were mine, I wouldn't let it go for less than $40k either.

If it is not making any money and I received an offer of $15K, SOLD it right away nothing to think about.
The next offer will take forever or never come.

IMHO.

jogg is great while cash is greater, I will accept 25k, now, still not need worry too much, this name should give u enough confidence hold for another great offering...

@NameBuyer.com Thanks, this price could be the floor price.

@TheWatcher it's a point of view, I'm aware that the offer I'm waiting for may never come.

@Zilla thank you for being reassuring ;)

As we see, price is always the meeting of supply and demand. I wouldn't be fully satisfied if I sold under 100k... which is not realistic in the current market.

I'm waiting for the market to change. If not, so be it.

Hi!
It would appear that the market has been very slow in recent months.
No good offer in the last year... I don't like that!

I hope everyone is doing well here ;)

Yes, maybe, but how do you know in advance?
Tomorrow, Nike launches a Jogg line and my domain name will be worth a fortune.
Tomorrow ? In 6 months ? Never?

You don't. You asked for an appraisal tho. Whether the president of the US will buy your name tomorrow for 10 million or not, no one can tell you. I'm just giving my opinion.

Yes, thank you NickB!
I have spoken with the CEO of jogg.co, but they are not interested.

That's a shame -They might come back to you in the future...never say never

Have you set up a captcha all email? If you get anything meant for them, you can just forward it over, as a polite gesture of course :xf.wink:

Yep, My broker do it. I don't know if it's work.
Some people do not see the value of a domain name. Or have other priorities.

Lot of brokers don't want to try to sell it to a high-end user.
I don't know why exactely... Because it's not phone.com or money.com?

I think the market is a precise reflection of what happens in the real world right now.

I see increased demand, but lower demand of high-value domains. As in, people NEED domains as they are forced to go online, but are cash strapped hence will go for a compromise, with a lower price.

It will only go deeper in this direction for a few years, I expect.

Hold on to it. For now.

Until we're past this market, when a new bubble forms and end buyers will be loaded with cash and more than willing to drop on a nice domain.

Good observation. To me, lots of .co sales might signify this (.co being the cheaper alternative).
