The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Just noticed that, big jump.

Current Bid: $32600 USD

420 has a big proxy bid. Looks like the other bidder is tired of the back and forth, trying to figure out what the max bid is.

I don't get this, reported consistently current time, then this.
Suppose the proxy max had been reached and some reset occured, readjusted?
I don't watch like this ever or use api's.

See that too, no idea.

Could be, that would go along with what I poster earlier:

"That turned out to be about a "information technology services company"

gonines:
"Our Vision is to be the leading IT services and consulting partner in Nebraska"

That would fit.

found another one, IT - fiveninesit.ca

Final answer, gonines.com since they own fivenines.net which redirects to that page. They're called Five Nines Technology Group, they have that kind of money.

Ok, now at 9 hrs. at ~27 seconds left, seems regular, rebid.

An Japanese company into ham radio appears (DX stands for distance, fyi) to have fivenine, so simply more speculation:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R-S-T_system

"An example RST report for a voice transmission is "59", usually pronounced "five nine" or "five by nine", a report that indicates a perfectly readable and very strong signal."

Saw a bank in Tess that was using the singular. Five Nine.

This kind of name usually works in IT kind of companies in regards to uptime five nines 99.999% efficiency.

Paying that kind of price, I mean someone needs a huge payday to take that risk.

420domainer seems to have deep pockets who are they?

$34k now. Close to 10 hrs.

I stopped paying attention to auctions about a year ago and started looking again. I was wondering you knew. Is the other bidder a regular? I don't pay much attention to specific bidders.

I am just going to end it and bid $100,000. That should put a stop to this lunacy.

Omg I had no idea it’s still going, this is insane, 420 was online for the other auctions closing.

Fastcars is now the highest bidder, I don’t think I have ever seen an auction go this long, I don’t know what to make of it. Are these the only two guys who feel it is worth more?

I have seen many auctions not get paid though, this is serious money especially on the wholesale end.

Let’s hope they still going at it on Monday morning.

Or dropcatches bank account grow.

Well, they have a huge overhead investment. I couldn't imagine how to automate tax returns on thousands of LLC's let alone the rest of the operation.

Seems they might bump the minimum bids up to $1000. by this point, like live auctions.

This is clearly an outlier that is really achieving a high price, nobody even had an idea here what it meant, as everyone was trying to figure out five nines.

Somebody needs a $50k+ sale out of this name at these levels to get any traction.

I hope it sells to an end user, they pay and in a few weeks transaction reported and immediately starts using it. That's what it's all about. If it gets parked....

It’s amazing how one bidder can cause chaos for another person, this thing was done at around $1k, $35k later ouch. They should have just talked it over, and conceded a compromise.
