XR can be X Reality or Extended Reality.

Either way it describes the spectrum just like mixed reality.

Been looking around and shopping for a while now, saw many companies choosing to rebrand to xr or just starting with xr in their names..

Those are only some of my findings that are already developed (there are many more undeveloped by major companies like unity/sony etc..)

When I first saw this thread and invested in a few XR domains, I spent a little time doing homework. Compared to 1 year ago, the industry has definitely opened up into using it. It's not just start-ups. Other established companies have rebranded. That's a great sign.
My domains aren't the best (I have some with dashes), but I'm not in a rush.

my only name may have connection with XR, XRiy, a 4L.com brandable and pronouceable

now, VR is quit common word in public, there always have VR game area in shopping mall, XR should go this way, brand XR as super VR or Extream Reality, thus consumer oriented company can easy to use this term...
