Has anyone used undeveloped.com to sell domains? They claim to be able to increase a domainers sales by 54%.

Probably...
I don't use UD marketplace...
Just as escrow for sales no higher than $1K.
Sedo escrow - for higher sales.

Hi Carob,

We update stats on the dashboard daily indeed.

We haven't thought of adding a unique GA code per domain. This is the first time we get that feature request :).

We exclude pageviews generated by the account owner (when logged in).

Kind regards,
Reza

Hi Reza

I have been ok with having one GA id per Undeveloped account but I said it would be worth looking at the pros and cons later. I have a couple of comments now - not a feature request, more of a discussion and heads up. In fact too many features and settings might just confuse people and not be worth the effort.

The unique GA ID does make it possible for an outsider to group domains by ownership or at least see they are in the same account. I have one or two domains I will keep off Undev for that reason - there is no settting to apply GA to only some domains.

In some respects unique IDs would make it easier to dig into traffic on one domain - as it is, I am seeing traffic in different languages on the same domain showing separately, not aggregated (they are aggregated on Undeveloped dashboard, but that is monthly, not daily.)

@Undeveloped so any chance at all for switching positions of acceptoffer and makeoffer buttons? I am going to estimate this one at 5 mins of coding for yoru team.

may not sound like much to u.. but I basically come close (especially when having small concentration lapses now and then) to hitting accept button 90% of time when I want to hit makeoffer.

if you for some odd reason you find this idea sucks or is not worthy.. maybe you can at least add a double confirmation after we click accept offer button... but I think switch positions is easier.. and better too.

I am sure you would not be just helping me out if you do this.. but others too. and well.. help yourself too down the road.. for all those accepted offers by mistake clicked buttons.

thanks a lot :)

Hi Alcy,

Thanks for the feedback! I've forwarded it to our product team.

Kind regards,

Reza

Does anyone know how you turn off the Installment option on a single, individual domain?

She then called us and asked us when she could move into the new house she rented for $750 a month... So she landed on a for sale page, assumed she could rent a house for $750, completed checkout and found out she actually bought a domain.

😂😂😂 Now that's funny

While we're at this, here's another one from this morning

John above has bought a domain for $495 and thought he was buying a Mayfair TV Guide. I'm not sure how this type of internet users survive in life but he clearly didn't read anything on our for sale pages and just proceeded to checkout to later find out he made a mistake.

Well Mayfair is the most expensive real estate in London and also home to some very expensive personal services so maybe he thought that was the price of a guide to watching online...

I have had people send orders for CBD goods through a Uniregistry lander, thankfully it does not take payment for them. And someone agreed to buy a domain there for $3m and only later was it clear that was in Colombian currency and was only about $600, just not enough. Impulse buying or drunk surfing, who knows.

@Undeveloped Any plans on allowing users to price individual domains with either...
BIN
BIN and Make Offer
Make Offer
Rather than have these settings affect your entire portfolio.

u can do all this now

just go to your portofolio and set prices.

just make sure you remember that to have bin only and no offer.. you need to set min = bin

@Undeveloped

hi there

any chance you can add small column into TRANSACTIONS tab.. that says the sale price? just as quick reminder.

also a little column into LEADS tab... that shows highest buyer offer so far.. even if declined etc.... ok?

thanks!!

The only one solution here...
Sell your domains just using simple Contact Form - the volume of non-payers is minimal in this mode.
Where do we get a simple contact form, in other words, what is that? Thanks

Yes, this can be done as mentioned already. But I think it would be nice to be able to set a minimum Make Offer amount as a percentage for your entire portfolio. For example if you only want buyers to be able to Make Offers of at least 60 percent of the BIN price, then you just set it to 60 percent for all your names.

I don't think this is possible now?

@Undeveloped Is it possible to list under "Added on" the date when I added the domain, not the previous owner?

Now i see the date when the domain was previously added to UD, the value of this information for me is zero and per contra it's highly confusing.

I discussed this issue with someone of your guys in emails a while ago, but it seems the issue is still there.

Thank you!

You can remove and then add the domain again. This is how I solve the issue.

I do this too to zero out a stat for a domain if I am interested in seeing really current traffic and not the past "rolling 30 days" which is wonky when views get aged and deleted.

I would like to request that @Undeveloped consider adding the option for buyers to send a message prior to making an offer. Currently the only way a buyer can send a message is after they make an offer. I think it would be very beneficial for buyers to have this option.

currently I've replaced my company name with an email address to be reached at and I've noticed a big change in inquiries coming through email.

I think this might be against Undeveloped's TOS?
You basically tell the potential buyers to move away from the platform and deal with you privately via email.
I'm not sure I got this right but that's how it looks like...
