I have been hoarding .co domains for sometime and buying decent ones at auction to hoard as I think these will blow up in 2-3 years. I just sold a .co for $2000 through Go Daddy! Once the funds clear I will post the domain, its not even a super high level .co of mine.

You'd better save your joy until when you get the bucks in your account. Until then, it's not the SALE yet.

ok but how much have you spent on renewals over those 2-3 years?

nice...2k is good for co usually...
especially for non premium names

a lot of average co names sell for low to mid 3figures

how many co names do u own and have been hoarding? the renewals can cost a lot of money on co.

while co is doing good in general for a long while now... so there really isn't any particular reason why it would blow up in few years.. or in any future for that matter... its really just a nice extension.. thats beeen always pretty popular and had its sales... I see it as staying exactly where it is and has been .. in future.

if buyer already paid on gd then those rarely fail the check ... but like golan said, its not sold til u have money :)

Congrats, but renewal management is important especially with almost 3X .com costs, plus you have to minus 20% from that.

Nice .. big congrats! :)

Coincidentally I actually just got the money for a $2100 .co today! :)
Yesterday I also reported a $1k .co sale from last year. Today's I think is my 4th 4 figure .co sale! :)

That being said .. I don't see .co particularly getting any bigger .. but at the same time .. it actually currently is bigger than most people think it is!

Nice, I agree with your comments regarding .Co domains. I've had a couple of potential buyers for my .coms set-up on the .co when they didn't like my asking prices, maybe they'll return if successful, but i'm not fussed about it.

Can you disclose the domain ??

Tbh I don't trust the .co registry. They randomly made things premium, Then stole some domains from holders to make them pay premium...

So... u know... having a significant .co portfolio is putting too much trust in a shady co

whenever i try to list a .co on gd it won't go through. a window pops up stating that gd doesn't support the .co tld at this time but hopes to in the future(n)

Congrats on the sale.

However, holding .CO with their high renewals is an expensive proposition.
You have to account for all the domains that don't sell, not just the ones that do sell.
