Is it a good idea to solely consider Google exact search results when registering a domain? I found one .com which is like KeywordANDKeyword.com and it has more than 800,000 results for exact match i.e. "keyword and keyword"

Do you think such a domain has any worth?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Number of results are a factor when I decide to buy a name or not. If i search something and it has like 354 results then I generally stay away. Even for made up brandables, I want something that, at the very least, some other people have thought of.

If your "and" phrase makes sense then go for it. Sometimes "and" makes a better name than just the two words together.

oilandwater > oilwater
eggsandbacon > eggsbacon
loveandhate > lovehate

Every domain has value. Everybody in this world are looking for something and businesses are born everyday. You just might have what said person is looking for.

Never listen to anyone that says your creation doesnt have value.

Be better than them.

Create, and MARKET MARKET MARKET.

Must have said something extremely negative.

Never let what one says take you out of your character.

People must think highly if you on this forum and you realize that.

When you include the word solely I would have to answer no. I would say it is one, but only one, thing to consider. The most important question is would the domain name bring value to a reasonable number of potential end users. Some names have a ton of search results, but are not commercially that important. In most cases they have some value but not as much as you think. If you have not already done so, would suggest you not only look at how many search results, but how many searches per month, how many advertisers, and what the CPC is (look at broad and especially exact match). You can readily get these for your domain name by doing an Estibot valuation (you are allowed 2 per day without a paid subscription).

Even for made up brandables,

How many of you think have thought about Flipkart?

*its only first example come in my mind, do your own research you will lot of this name using by companies

Brandable is something which can't be discussed here. I think a good brandable domain name doesn't need to have any search result or volume.

Brandable only need to be "Catchy", " "Short", "Memorable", " Pronounceable"

After reading all replies, I have decided not to buy the domain because even though number of search results is high, the average monthly search volume according to Google AdWords is in the range of 10 to 100 which is very low.

In that case, I suggest posting it here to get better feedback (at the risk of somebody snapping it, of course).
