What distinguishes a good domainer from a bad one? What does one that the other doesn't?

Good domainer: Always optimistic self-confident and does not give up if faced any difficulty.

For the case that "good" stands for "making money" and "bad" for "losing money":

>>> The good domainer makes profit through the bad domainer.

Sounds harsh but thats the realityyy

A bad domainer buys great names and virtually gives them away to good domainers.

Good domainer is patient, organized and disciplined.
Bad domainer is impatient, disorganized and undisciplined.

A good domainer doesn't necesarrily have to be a nice guy, hold a good portfolio, have ethics or be a great salesman. The same goes for a bad domainer.

Whatever your business model is, a good domainer has set goals and makes enough profit to achieve them. A bad one does not.

A good person is a nice guy, does hold a decent portfolio, does have ethics and is a decent salesman. The same does not go for a bad person.
