Hi Domainers,
Let's share experiences.
What Is your expired domain forgotten or intentionally forgotten to be extended, then someone else bought it, and he/she is able to sell it at a good price?

It seems that we once thought, our domain is worthless, so we let it expire.
Other people bought it, and sell it in another marketplace. Then it sold in good price, that we didn't expect before.

Thank You...

Really appreciate your question, Friend @johnn.
I think, we need discuss here, share the strategies. Then someday we will not do the same mistakes again...
Thank you for understanding...

Most of the names that I let drop (that I can still remember over the course of my life) were picked up by HugeDomains or some other company. They're asking good amounts so I guess I wasn't totally clueless when I registered them in the first place... ex: wallclips .com, dietspy .com thirtynights .com

I know there's a lot, but not gonna go back and check. However, one of the first domains I ever regged, back in 2006, was WeFuel.com. I thought it was genius. Everyone else thought it sucked. I let it drop after a year. Now WeFuel is a company, looks like it's growing fast, and someone else just let WeFuel.com drop, it sold on Dropcatch auction for about low x,xxx (I think) a few days ago.

Many more I let drop and which have now been sold by others, but that's the most recent.

:)

One of my expired domain names sold for $10,000.00 to a Chinese investor...ah, the joys of divorce.
