The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
pending create means there is a sub domain that has reservation rights over this name. ie) bentely.on.ca or something etc...

Stop trying to game the system, .ca is not like .com, you need to understand what you are doing, you just can't do whatever you like.

I am guessing it is related to this city - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bentley,_Alberta

Probably .ab.ca

That makes no sense. You are going to spend tens of thousands on a lawsuit to try to claim a domain that was never actually registered? I would suggest just moving on.

Make no sense,I was told Bentley is common last name and first name in Canada,

That is not relevant if the domain was not available to register in the first place.

It is rather hard to believe that the term "Bentley" would just be sitting there for decades waiting for someone to register it, if available.

The explanation given above makes sense. It is likely reserved, therefore it is stuck in pendingcreate.

Im extremely angry with the CAregistry and so sad for Namesilo services because both they didnt sent even an email to my mailbox before took back my domain

Well, it is not your domain. It was never created and then the registry put it on server hold.

The communication might be less than desired, but it is pretty clear the domain was not actually available to register. I am not sure if the issue was with NameSilo or the .CA registry itself.

You cant take them to court, the domain was never yours.

Take this is as a learning experience, cut your losses and move on. You know you arent going to spend 5K or $10k on a lawsuit on a non-premium .ca domain. We see people every week threatening lawsuit against registrars but this never happens. Rick Schwartz wont and cant do anything about this either.

has refund but without any email,.CA registry is robbery
Not really. As a Canadian citizen, I agree. You shouldn't be allowed to register .ca domains. Your "loophole" is irrelevant. because you are not a Canadian citizen, you do not get to own .ca domains.

you'll get reimbursed, stop whining. @namesilo you seem to be letting non canadian entities reg .ca
not cool. And Vane you started a thread about your desire for a .ca and people told you the requirements, now we know what it is.
You kind of disgust me, there are rules, you knew them, follow them.
Give him/her their money back @namesilo so they can shut up

As Brad pointed out Bentley AB is probably why the block is in place. Why don't you read the TOS of the .CA registry you will see all domains like city.ca town.ca village.ca are all reserved as the registry does not want any outside confusion.

It is clear you are trying to register while on location in China, in violation of the registry residency rules. Move on, why are you obsessed, otherwise call your lawyers, and pay your retainers, and we will see where you land very quickly.

You are not listening, you are not allowed to register this name, it doesn't matter if your brothers friend likes the car, doesn't give you a higher authority to register the domain.
