Right away the dual Maga hats raised an eyebrow.
Well, that and...
1-The coldest night in decades and 2 guys decide to go out looking for someone to lynch? Just cuz that's what Trump voters do.
2-Wearing their maga hats?
3-They happen to stumble across the only other guy that night, and they immediately know who he is, from the back, and at night no less. Because racist Trump voters are naturally big fans of a show about rich black guys, so they would recognize a supporting actor all bundled up for winter for sure.
4-They conveniently chant "this is MAGA territory," because.... well, that's what an amateur scriptwriter just out of liberal arts school would imagine them saying. And because it also conveniently identifies them as Trump supporters
5-All of this conveniently takes place out of sight of any cameras.
6-The actor stumbles back into the cameras, with a rope around his neck. Normal people would take it off right away, but actor says he wants to preserve the "evidence." Because people who have just been attacked at random in a street at night, and are still alive and pumping with adrenaline always think about preserving the evidence first.
7-He still has his sandwich in his hand, cuz... well damn, he was hungry. Two guys jumped him and perhaps meant to kill him, but that's no reason to drop 6 inches of meat in a bun.
This is a good example of why most actors never make it as directors. They have no sense of storyline, plot consistency, or character development. They don't leave anything to the viewer's imagination, and instead present every literary device with large flashing arrows, perhaps because they think the viewer is as stupid as they are, and will miss the hint - no matter how obvious.
I don't watch a whole lot of television, and morons like this are one reason why. If I want to be that dumbed down, a couple bottles of good wine go down easier.
