This is not a buying / selling / appraisal thread but meant for learning and knowing the character of premium names at NP.

(a) Please post only the names you own (sell-able) and the best to showcase here.
(b) Please mention why you think your name commands that price.
(c) Post max of one name per comment.
(d) No adult./ crypto / numeric names.
(e) Limiting to dot com names only for the moment.

Thanks.

CelebsInspire.com

True, some celebrities inspire with their persona, charity , being a social change agent etc., name best suited for an authority blog that can become a Facebook among celebrities hence commands a good price.

What makes you think that either of names are worth 5k? You explain a potential use case, but where's the data? Do you have comp sales? Even appraisal tools don't value these names close to 5K. I can think of a few reasons why these wouldn't be worth close to 5K. Did you mean 5K rupees?

A thread like this is disingenuous to new investors, because it makes them think that mediocre names are worth this much.

I partially agree to your logic, but what does Facebook look like? or for that matter twitter for which some gig maker designed a logo for 5$ (the twitter logo) but true worth comes from its character to become dominant in the market. I did not asks for the stats either and i'm not a fan of appraisal tools. Thanks for your perspective.

makeup/courses/.com

Here's the data to show why I think its worth at least $5K USD.

(I'm probably underpricing it now that I'm doing this research)

Correct grammar and spelling? Yes
Google results (no space) - 634K
Google results (with space) - 907Million
When searched, are there advertisers? Yes, there's commercial intent.
Is there volume in Google Ad Planner for the keyword? Yes $8K per month 😳
In Namebio, have there been .com sales with makeup as the prefix? Yes, at least 30
In Namebio, have there been .com sales with courses as the suffix? Yes, at least 60

There you go... some real data to backup the price.

Be careful valuing your own made-up brand names highly because of these examples... The value of Facebook and Twitter was never derived from their domain names. Yes, they're good brands, but the value of the names comes from the millions (billions?) of dollars in development and promotion that was put into them

I like it. True, you don't always need data. Sometimes you just "know".

Bookworm is a great term... merge it with audiobook... I could see someone paying $5.5k for this

Two word domain names are good candidates. I own G/u/e/s/s/R/i/g/h/t.com and I like it :)

The answer to your question is very simple. Visit www.namebio.com and filter by price range ($5k-$6k), result will give you a brief idea on the domains that are already sold for $5000 USD.
