Good luck with your sales!

I don't ever report brokered sales. I let buyer and seller decide if they want to release that information.

what are the investment costs or roi ranges on yer sales?
Feel free to email or message me and I'd be happy to divulge my total investment on those names.

Just a few sales. I think I sold a total of 87 domains over $500 last year.

Nice sales. Can anyone outside the Europe register .de domains and sell it?
Are these all inbound sales?

All inbound, as always. You will have to check rules & regulations for .DE

Most of my 2019 sales so far...

Tales // co
$400 - Undeveloped
Picked up here for ~$100 for a personal project, didn't end up using it, cleared it out

Ephemeral // co
$1080 - Undeveloped
Picked up here for low $xx, renewed once

WhiteboardAnimations // com
$650 - Undeveloped
Picked up for low $xxx on the drop, felt like I overspent, took the first offer

Doggish // com
$1600 - Undeveloped
Lower offer came in via email, went back and forth and settled on 1600. I had had some interest last year through GD but never materialized. I picked this up at auctions for $3xx and part of me wishes I didn't let it go so low, but cash is cash and most other extensions are available so I took that into consideration.

Coffeeholics // com
~$1800 in hand - Brandpa
Another low $xxx auction pickup less than a year ago, decent ROI.

Online-courses // com
$900 - Undeveloped
Just went through this morning. Not loving the ROI on this one, picked it up for just under 600 at Drop but the dash gave me pause so I set an approachable BIN recently. The timing on this one is perfect, though, as I just picked up a name I really like but was on the fence about for $1k

My lesson from 2018 was that I very much overspent on auctions, mostly at GD - and I've had way better luck with names I picked up for low $xx or hand-regged, than $xxx pickups which were the bulk of my in-waste-ment. I think in Jan. 18 I had picked up over 100 names at auctions, and this year I've only got 5, so I suppose things are moving in the right direction...

GoDaddy $300
Sold last week.
GoDaddy closeout domain purchased September 2018.
I did send 2 outbound emails without price in october, no replies.
Offer came through Domain buy service 2 weeks ago at $300
Countered $900, offer was going to expire in 8 days.
4 days later, no answer, countered $550.
A couple hours before offer expiration, accepted $300.

Here's the fail
Until now I thought domain buy service was the buyer paying GoDaddy $69 to be able to reach me and present his offer.
But it wasn't.
Domain Buy Service is the buyer paying $69 to GoDaddy in order to deal with a broker, tell the broker his budget, and give the broker 30 DAYS to negotiate the best price with his budget.
I accepted the offer 8 days in because I didn't know. Fail.

Here's the good part.
I'm 8 months into domaining, 5 months ago in September 2018, I spent $1200 buying a little over 50 domains. I figured this one was not good so I put Afternic BIN $350. Then I made a list of 12 domains I was going to delete right away, this was among them. Then I got the $300 offer, Afternic BIN was long gone because questionable domains were out of my Afternic account.

Here's the lesson.
I found other threads where people were freaking out with domain buy service offers lol.
Basically the broker will present an offer that will expire in 8 days, he will ignore your counter and let his offer expire without saying a word.
Counter high right away, and let his offer expire, broker will come back with a higher offer within buyer's budget as long as the 30 days are not over. It is broker's duty to do everything he can to get the domain within buyer's budgets.

I don't care what I might've gotten because it was a good experience.
And I'm still deleting the other 11 domains.

edit: I was waiting for funds to be released to post this. There's no commission on domains sold through domain buy service. Buyer pays it.
I got the full $300.

A year 1999 registered PartyImages, com domain name, I sold for $500 today which was opening offer from a Denmark buyer.

I had acquired this domain name from Snapnames on Aug 30, 2009. Hold time is 10 years for me!

I am currently riding my lows in the domain name game with too many lowball offers but nothing impressive which shall let me sleep peacefully at night. The low-end sale helps in keeping the momentum and renewals going..

What do you think?

As i was going to delete it, domain was removed from afternic, sedo, undeveloped accounts.
DNS was pointing to undeveloped and the page showed ''this domain has been deleted''.
Privacy was on. Domain buy service was the only way to get it.
Fail.
