Hi Guys, great to be here with like minded individuals. I've started domaining over 10 years ago. I have a portfolio of just over 200 names, and some I believe to be very good. In the 10+ years I've sold only 2 domains, and in the past few years, if I get only 1 inquiry per year, then it warrants a celebration ;) Hoping to learn some tricks and insider secrets here to increase my success rate. Cheers!

Hello from a fellow Montrealer! :)

The most important thing about making money domaining is the actual quality of your domains .. but almost as important is that you list them everywhere and give them the biggest chances to sell. Tons of information for both throughout NamePros ... so you've come to the right place! :)

Best of luck to you going forward! :)

Welcome @dafdaf - glad to have you at NamePros! You'll find lots of great information here that can help you streamline your portfolio for maximum profit. We all buy dud domains when we start out, but that's an important part of the learning process.

Wishing you the best in domaining -

Welcome (well I see you have been on for awhile) @dafdaf from a fellow Canadian (but now living thousands of km west of you). Yes, this is indeed an enterprise requiring patience, and glad that your spirits have stayed strong in the time between offers or sales. If you feel so inclined I would love to hear more about the niches you invest in and perhaps what extensions. Have a great day.

Hi Bob and thanks for the welcome. I have around 240 names spanning various industries. I've always tried to spread my names around various sectors of activity (finance, ecommerce, dating, adult, luxury, travels, destinations, betting, sports, etc). I also have a number of names which are commonly used phrases:
(ie: YoungAndNaive.com; HowAboutMeeting.com; WouldntIt.com; HadAThought.com; etc). The majority (95%) are dot coms with a few being dot CA and a few others being French names in both coms and CA. Oh yes, I also have about a half dozen in new gTLDs.
Thanks for the interest and let me know if you have other questions. Cheers!
