sales Ultra-Premium KOS.com Acquired by KOS Naturals

NameSilo
Three-letter .COM domain names are highly sought after by investors and end users alike. In the past twelve months alone, ICE.com, DXL.com, and EEN.com have all sold for six and seven-figure fees to end users. The KOS.com domain name now joins the ranks, as it has been acquired by KOS Naturals, a supplement brand.

According to DomainIQ's WHOIS history, the name looks to have been acquired by the health company at the start of 2018, but the information has only just come to light.

KOS Naturals, founded in 2017 by Otimo LLC, seemingly used the KOSNaturals.com domain name briefly before upgrading to KOS.com. A trademark for KOS was filed by Otimo LLC in June 2017. Before Otimo took control of KOS.com, the domain was previously owned by a Canadian musician for his company Kingdom of Soca.

Aside from being a supplement brand, Kos is also the name of a popular Greek island and holiday destination. Recently, VPN.com brokered the sale of a similar name, Crete.com for $105,000. Crete is another Greek island.

Unfortunately, the price of KOS.com has not been revealed despite asking both buyer and seller for further information on the transaction. A 2016 email in my archive shows the domain held an $87,000 asking price, although this doesn't reflect at all on the actual sales price.

Thanks to James Booth (@BoothDomains) of BQDN for the information.

Kos is Vagina in Arabic , even worse actually, its slang, not proper language

The letters k / o / s are latin letters and it is at least secondary what it means or could mean in a slang of a non - latin letter - language, the same would be valid vice versa.

Another point is, that if a someone says it is ultra premium (or whatever else), then it is ultra premium (or whatever else) - at least for the one who says it.

Last but not least, beside it's current use, this domain name would also give a nice
hack domain name for KOSCOM (KOrea Securities COMputing Corporation) - at least from a "domainer's perspective".

Koscom is a Korean financial IT solutions company launched by the Ministry of Finance (MOSF) and the Korea Exchange (KRX) in 1977.
It has five corporate divisions with providing IT infrastructure to the Korean financial securities and futures market. [...] *
