DomainLength.com

A domain name is limited to 63 characters, counting each character is time consuming. Domain Length was created as a tool to find the length of a domain name. The number of characters are counted for each domain name with and without the domain exenstion.

It's in beta for now kept it simple, might change that who knows. Let me know what you think.

Would have utilized this type of domain name assistance years ago when I was registering many names including some longer names.

Nice domain name tool for anyone who requires a finite character count.

Good service. Clean look is good, but site needs a little css styling (not too much, though).

Would be good to add bulk lookups.

Simple logo would be nice, too. Like this...

You can use it if you like (looks better when downloaded. Forum is enlarging it for some reason and makes it look rough.)

You should give some feedback based on the length. The longer it gets, the harsher the feedback.

Thanks for the logo looks good, but I came up with another idea.
I will be adding bulks checks very soon.

Thanks for the feedback I have updated DomainLength with a new logo and add some styling to it.
Bulk checks soon.

My domain name is longer than your text field.

And imho you don't really need to calculate the length with the extension.

Fixed the text field.

I might add a check box option instead to calculate with the domain extension.

When you type an Invalid domain name this erreur message "is not a valid domain" should show in the same index page, to make it easy for users to try another domain!

Super simple and fun tool, don't see it a huge amount of value as a lot of registrars tell you the length etc and you can sort by length on sites like expireddomains.net but one someone, should blog about and give you a little free promotion especially once you have the bulk tool live.
