I cannot give you a price. But I just want to say that a 4-letter .com that is pronounceable is very attractive. Unlike something like zxrq.

Hold it. It's not going to make you poor to renew it every year but could make you a good penny in the future.

I would sell it for $750.
I disagree. Pronouncable 4-letter .com is worth more than $750 if you are willing to hold and even do work to find end user. Leading letter means nothing. The domains listed above are inferior to yours. Cannot pronounce them. The fact that they start with "y" means nothing to their selling price.

Are you saying you changed the name of your business? If not, why would you want to sell a 4 letter .com that is an acronym for your own business? Just curious

For the reason I stated in my first reply to this thread.

Realize that I am not a professional appraiser or even a professional domain broker/flipper/speculator. But of all the 4L domains I have seen, yours isn't worth dumping for only $xxx because it is pronounceable and it's brandable/marketable.

It's only $8.99/year to keep it. If you are paying more than that, then transfer it to a more reasonably priced registrar like namesilo or namecheap.

question...I don't see anywhere that it is only $8.99/yr to keep a domain name. Any info??

Who is your current registrar? Your current registrar might charge more than $8.99/yr for .COM, that's why I posted 2 other registrars (earlier) that have cheaper prices, but are very reputable, Namecheap and Namsilo.

Namsilo.com prices for .COM are are...
$6.99 for new reg then $8.99/year after the 1st year.
$8.39 for a transfer then $8.99/year after the first year.
Free whois privacy

Namecheap.com prices for .COM are slightly more (I think) and whois privacy is extra.

There are a ton of other reputable registrars, but these 2 are the cheapest for .com.

I see your domains (actually both of the ones you own) are registered with NetworkSolutions or a reseller. So you're probably getting hosed. I went to Network solutions and they show the price of a .COM as 2.95 for the first year registration, but every year after is 32.99. That's criminal, IMHO.

I'm VERY interested in selling. Might turn it over to an agent at afternic.com. Thoughts?

That's always an option. I cannot suggest a good broker, but you can ask on the forum.
