Here is the story.
I backordered a domain name on dropcatch and snapnames.
Dropcatch caught the name.
Name went for auction and still sitting in an auction with 15 hours remaining.
Got email from snapnames that the name I backordered is for sale outright for 648$ with a buy now link.
How is it possible?

This is not a bug, in some cases the previous owner has this domain up for sale through Aftermarket vendors (prior to AND post lapse). Many seller and Aftermarket Vendors are not realtime in delisting domains they do not own. Some domains slip through the cracks until future verification steps by the Listing provider are cleansed/run. I suspect the BIN listing was stale.
