I think this is a very important side in outbound sales.
For example, you check your inbox and see an email with subject Domain Offer and sender name, for example, Rajesh Bhattacharyya (sorry my Indian friends, nothing personal, but it's true that it is to much spam from India). Would you open this email?
I found that my outbounds are mostly to English-speaking end-users and I think, that some of them may not open my emails due to my non-English name. What are your thoughts? Does anybody use some kind of pseudonyms?

I see "robo-generated" emails about domain names dozens of times per day, they all read roughly the same, only the gmail address and name seems to vary, they all go straight in the trash

Real email contacts/form submissions/offers get replied to irrespective of any "region" the name would imply

I'd say use your real details, whatever they are

I say, stop sending spam solicitations, period

What if you have found company that owns same domain name than you in another extension and you have their .com name. Would you try to sell your name to them for good cash?
I'm not saying, that you should be like a spam-storm.

no

why?

i'd wait until they contacted me, then I would have leverage in the negotiation
this would put me in position to possibly get more $ if an agreement is made

and they'd feel more like they bought the name from me -
rather than them feeling like I am trying to sell a domain to them.

There is a Difference

and..... i'd be less likely of being accused of acquiring the name, just to sell it to them.

also, consider - if you recently got the domain, then they may have had opportunity before you to get it, but chose not to... especially if they are currently using a cctld or .org

but that's just me

imo...
