Sold in 2013 for 600K.

But they are branding around the world with GOLFTV not Golf .tv, good to have but that is no doubt why we see the Golftv.kr .co.kr sales. Buying the franchise.

It never sold for 600K. That is not true. Ray even mentioned that there were other assets involved. I emailed Cybertavern and they could not provide any information either.

Whether it did or not the relevance is that Discovery are putting up 2 billion? To brand Golf.tv as GOLFTV - a massive investment in to one of the world's top sports. Starting with 21 countries .companies over the next 4 years to which they are offering the franchise I believe.

With this news and the Korean domain sales in the mid $xx,xxx I guess every version of GOLFTV has been registered particularly for those countries/companies that are among the first the get the franchise- huge money here.

Looks like a lot of money is being thrown at this project. Hope it is a success.

in full swing now! they should have put a dot in their logo - would add a lot, more readable and no one would ask for the web address!

They are branding as GOLFTV so a dot would not make any sense, they have the wrong domain in Golf.tv great name that it is.
