A moral standard refers to the norms which we have about the types of actions which we believe to be morally acceptable and morally unacceptable. ( Who is to say what Normal really is. Normal is a setting on the washing machine. Just because something is morally unacceptable to you does not give you the right to say someone has no moral standard)
Specifically, moral standards deal with matters which can either seriously Harm or seriously benefit human beings. Harm can be accounted for in several ways. Most basically, and uncontroversially, it involves bodily injury. One can also be harmed if damage or injury is done to one’s interests, or if a violation against one’s rights occurs (See
Rights).
‘Do not harm’ is, for most all moral systems, a central principle.
The validity of moral standards comes from the line of reasoning that was taken to back or support them, and thus are not able to be formed or changed by particular bodies of authority.

@mr-x You say I have no moral standard? You are making that assumption based on what facts? Is it bc I stand up for LGBTQ and also that I am openly transparent about who I am and my lifestyle? It is irrelevant what you think about what I do. The important question is... Am I hurting anyone? Am I doing harm to another human being? Absolutely Not.
In regards to me complaining about people that do have a moral standard, enlighten me. All humans are flawed. Some are just better at hiding their skeletons than others. It doesn't bother me that your skeletons don't want to play with mine. Now ask yourself this. Does Trump really have a moral standard?
