.HOMES re-released

I received in a Uni Newsletter that .HOMES has been released without restrictions. Did anyone else see that and try to register any domains. It was tough going. Most were already taken or very premium prices from the registry. I did manage to get OFFSHORE and LAKESIDE for discounted reg fee

Whilst I was searching. I found RETAIL.DOMAINS available, so took that too

Every day I say....that's enough, and everyday I say it sure beats the hell out of throwing your money away in Vegas. btw, that's where I'll be Saturday at Namescon.

A little advice...if you're accumulating names for .homes, please hire a broker who will showcase your names directly to "end users" associated with the home industry. Good Luck!

And the cost is not $10 really, it is only discounted first year costs...full renewal fee will be something much differrent (depends on the registrar where you hold it).

Okay guys, let me ask you this, can.homes get expensive to buy in the future. I mean if one own 4 really good ones. what type of offers will I get if a major company wants it it to protect there brand ETC.

......Yes well this is where speculation comes into play...and smarter choices in names......I mean how long is a piece of string .....it’s way to early to tell if end users are going to adopt or even buy their com counterpart for brand protection .....but like anything you got to be in it to win it .....there are some good name choices among the group here but only time will tell ,renewals are going to be around the $30 mark .....I would not recommend going full steam and buying large amounts of this extension but a few decent picks could show some rewards .

I still think geo .homes is still the best, and proven way to go, quicker way to an exit.

You don’t want to be renewing these at $30 a year.

That tool means nothing,do a keyword search , if its a strong keyword grab it IMO
