Hard to say really, depends on purchasing price aswell, but id def start somewhere in the 5figs, obviously, how much you need the cash, how much you want the cash, how much you paid, and how much you expected before the offer came in, are all things you should take into consideration.

well.. I mean let's be real here... the only thing alphaledger and dataledger have in common is the data word... the rest is just whatever the buyer will pay for each.. and that will vary on 5345345634 factors and buyers etc.

so don't be too hard on yourslef for this one.

was his first bid 3.1k or you negotiated? I'd never accepted it if this was his first offer without countering first.. especialyl on gd where you can still go back to old offers after making new ones.. but.. done is done..

DataLedger is much much better then alpha, imho. Id have countered with about $9k. (depending on acquisition cost of course but assuming it was below $2k).

I agree that it is a better name 55Domains. In hindsight should have asked for more. There are still 3 days left in the GoDaddy auction. Any effective way to promote it through GoDaddy? Does premium listing get more traffic and bids?
