Oh, I'm with you on the point. I'm not even interested in clicking links that try to justify the legalities of it. For me, it's morally wrong, and there is a good reason cybersquatters have the reputation they have. It's just sad that investors/domainers sometimes get lumped into the same category.

hmm... I'm seeing quite the opposite. That was quite the ignorant close minded way of thinking there .

I've been sued over TM infringements. My inventories were frozen on GD, litigation included damages and legal fees.

The company was Biogen; all I did was buy cannabisbiogen if my memory is correct. They freaked out. The idea thier brand would be infringed apon by a marijuana company was too much for them to handle. Talk about a mess, too this day I take this and share the risks over TM with a $8 purchase.

Thier was no intent on any TM infringement case, I bought it like a idiot thinking bio genetics that was ARods steroid company in Miami that went under. I follow bankrupt companies and grab domains ; got leafsnack, snacks this way. I was like Biogen, hmm kinda cool and brandable. It's a Greek mythical god, term in the general sense. How wrong was I.

Biogen is a global company. With global business. A .com away is all it took and I was screwed .

I settled and moved on. Now 4 years ago.

I fear TM issues. At times it's not who's right or wrong( although I was wrong), but who's got a legal team on staff.

Could we get any luckier? Between social clubs and bars in Massachusetts, and now delivery in California.

As much as we think were so smart, much of this is simply legislatively driven and a sheer stroke of luck that we ended up with canna, leaf, CBD, and Hemp domains.

Even in the government; as much as theirs anger and fighting about things; few are fighting about Cannabis. In fact Barr ( the new attorney general? ) will honor the Cole act that piece of garbage Sessions recendid. For those who don't know; the Cole act protected states rights from Federal intervention on their state by state cannabis policys. This also gave way for a lack of comfort on stateside institutional investment in the space; that is why curaleaf; tilray and cronos have blossomed. Access too capitol thru the Canadian exchange.

Best of luck out there, the market is getting better by the month. It used too be by the year.
