Just wondering what the general thoughts are about whether the recent trend to legalize marijuana will boost the prices of pot-related domains?

I have
Leafbliss.com :)

Hmm wonder what the play is here, leaf isn't where canna is. But it's there somewhere.
2 completely different domains. Not much value in leafbliss. The value in cannabliss is how it rolls off the tongue and how it mimics cannabis. It’s a killer brand name because of that!

I have cannabisInfo.uk and CannaHealthFoods.com
Are there any value in these or should I give up on them ?
I know I'm leaving myself open for some negative response but hey I need to learn so....

Let them go. I’d say hold cannahealthfood but not foods.

Semantics are a funny thing;

Curaleaf or Curacanna

Cannabliss or Leafbliss

Curaleaf is going global, not sure it sounds right in Canna. They just bought trulieve? And swapped out that for Curaleaf in Miami. ( dade county )Not exactly sure.

https://www.curaleaf.com/

Cannabliss and Leafbliss ; not for nothing I think Leafbliss sounds pretty cool. I'd take a tenth of the money for Leafbliss, probably it's worth.

Hey if anyone here is watching trademarks?
( nothing approved), look into Curaleaf. Just did a bunch of roundabouts and the key filing as I see it is the Cbd application this will be standard I'd think to get a true TM. The future in many of our domains will be how the courts handle domains and ownership of such after TM in cbds are approved.

Hi Keith,
Any new acquisitions? Congrats on your sales btw.
Hi, thanks! Nah not really buying too much these days. It’s getting tough to find quality domains at reasonable prices.

Lol why would you register a unique, TMed name?

Newsflash:

Firstly, educate yourself about trademarks, an application has been lodged...not awarded....where...in America

Secondly: no trademark has been lodged, applied for or awarded in...Australia

Cheers

That’s a poor argument. You’re using someone else’s brand in order to gain personal profit.

Everyone should take this as a lesson of what NOT to register. Bad faith if I’ve ever seen it!

It doesn’t matter what I know. Everyone reading this can see that you have no problem deliberately using bad faith.

It’s unfortunate that you don’t understand the very basics of domaining.

In North America we call this cybersquatting. I guess it must be more accepted elsewhere.

have you stopped to consider, who the end user of the .com.au could be....

It's unfortunate that you don't understand the Australian Domain Market or the Australian Trademark Legislation.

PS Educate yourself about the country & legislation in which the domain was registered...

Honesty and integrity do apply if you want to be viewed as a decent person.

Keep telling yourself it’s ok because you’re in Australia - it’s cybersquatting. You really need to do some homework because you look bad right now.

Fair enough. Evidently, morals don't apply either.

Yeah, joke is on us, for sure. Going to suck taking time away from selling .coms to wipe this egg off of my face.

@wrolie

What is a trademark?
A trademark is a sign capable of distinguishing the goods or services of one enterprise from those of other enterprises. Trademarks are protected by intellectual property rights.

How can I protect my trademark?
At the national/regional level, trademark protection can be obtained through registration, by filing an application for registration with the national/regional trademark office and paying the required fees. At the international level, you have two options: either you can file a trademark application with the trademark office of each country in which you are seeking protection, or you can use WIPO’s Madrid System.

Cheers
