Hello guys. I'm a newbie and got here via a tutorial. I'm a Biomedical engineering student looking for alternative source of income asides graphics designs and transcription. Took up a $10 WhatsApp training on domain flipping from someone I met on the net and stumbled across this site. Safe to say I've learned one or two things already from the little I've read. Feels good to be here

Welcome to NPs. Not sure if you have discovered this post on some useful guides and threads to getting started with NPs.

In shot my advice is go slow at first, learn to use tools such as NameBio well, invest in what you know and only invest as much as you can afford to lose. Some are successful in domain investing, but it is certainly not easy and fast money.

Thanks, Bob. I'll certainly take your advice. The WhatsApp training cost $10 and I'll say it was worth it, it led me here and gave me some basic knowledge so I can't complain much.

You've definitely started on the right track .. as strange as it sounds, being aware of how little you know when you start is huge. Most newcomers rush to register tons of domains expecting to flip them all at huge profits, then are completely baffled when experienced domainers tell them their domains are worthless.

Keep on reading all over the forum .. there are also tons of great podcasts and blogs out there.
