Hello,

Okay many of you know me by now. I want to thank everyone that has helped me expand my knowledge base on this market sector of the internet. I have acquired a master list of brand/technology/pharmaceutical/business/sayings domain names that I want appraised for sale to end-users. Now, I don't want you to take into account the fact that these were all hand registrations I made for $1 each with network solutions. If you do not understand a name, don't complete your appraisal without researching it, because without a doubt it very well may be the most expensive name. If your starting your appraisal and your coming up with numbers under $1000 than you are wrong. I am sorry lol. I don't mean to be so close minded, and clearly misguided in this appraisal request, but I am trying to see what the most is I can get. Pretend we are selling all these names to end-users for the sake of argument.

Hey take your time on your appraisal, but def make your attempt now. I am waiting.

If you see no responses here, just assume everyone came up with valuations of below $1000 (way way below) and since you already told them they were wrong, they already completed the dialog with you in their heads and moved on.

judomastery.com ... lol... if your a judo master and you have your own classes.. but no website... this name is worth thousands to you..

You are requesting Appraisal not for one domain name but 87 names. To add salt to the pinch you are imposing some preconditions that we should not appraise any domain less than $ 1000 "If your starting your appraisal and your coming up with numbers under $1000 than you are wrong.". And one more order: "don't complete your appraisal without researching it" really makes matter worse; one who may be ready to appraise will not appraise for you.

I would maybe pick a few of your favourite names and ask for appraisals on those. But you're going to have to swallow a humble pill before you make your request... We've all been there, and we've all had to do it.

Remember not to impose restrictions on the appraisals.

judomastery.com ... lol... if your a judo master and you have your own classes.. but no website... this name is worth thousands to you..
This name is a great place to start. It has some inherent issues that are worth addressing:
  1. "Mastery" is not the top word choice for someone who wants this type of name. I would rate Master and Sensei above it. Arguably, some might also prefer Expert, Pro, etc. And since JudoMaster.com is currently selling for a price of $2300, you need to offer yours for a significantly lower amount for it to be an appealing option.
  2. A Judo dojo is a brick-and-mortar, local operation. What you'll often find is that these types of businesses aren't willing to pay a premium for .com because their potential client base is so limited (i.e. they don't care about the international appeal of a .com). So if I'm starting a dojo, and I'm in love with the name Judo Mastery, I have the option of registering it in whatever ccTLD applies (in my case .ca) and for my purposes it would carry the same authority as the .com (possibly even more).
So these two factors are the main things hurting the value of this name.

What you're really hoping for is that someone will want the name for an online business dedicated to Judo products or instruction. And if you want to attract that buyer, you need to price the name competitively to make it worth buying. This likely means pricing it at well under $1,000 based on the subject matter, the above issues, and the availability of other decent alternatives for hand registration.

I agree this name is only $250-$800

IMO, and this is not a shot but being realistic, I don't think you can get $1000 for the whole portfolio. But then again, there's always PT Barnum's quote to keep hope alive, so...

You mentioned having to do research to understand your names, but Google didn't shed any light on this one for me... Can you provide some context?

If the name doesn't have any meaning beyond the literal sense, then tell me this... How would you value the following names?

StandUpFloor.com
RideFastBike.com
LieDownBed.com

I am going to take the time to select names I would considering purchasing if I were buying names now.

donaldtrumper.com
aiintegrations.com
antihackware.com
cerxi.com
dronedropoffs.com
eruvy.com
halors.com
homebrainscan.com
ishouldbuythis.com
sezlo.com
typicalresponse.com
virtualestatesales.com
xzola.com

That is 13 names. If they have 6 months or more till expiration and are able to push to Namesilo not transfer to Namesilo, I would pay $2 per name. You double your money on those names!

Respect, than you'll sell em for $1000-$5000 each to an end-user over the next 3-5 years, right? What, your going to sell them for $4 each to double YOUR profits? Give me a break lol how stupid am I that even if you just offered me $1000 for all those names... I would say no.. its not about flipping my $1, its securing 1000x on my investment.

A handful of domains are OK, but most are bad.

Long term members of NamePros have seen this scenario play out over and over again.
New member, bad domains, attitude problem...Eventually people in this group usually fade away like a fart in the wind.

If you want to make it in this game I suggest you are less into arguing and more into learning.

I wouldn't pay $0.50 for both of those combined. No value.

Okay because neuroport.com is going for $3000. Do you know any type of real world application that could be describing?

There's a big difference between "going for" and "sold for".

Plenty of people are listing worthless domains for millions. That doesn't mean shit.

Hi, I think you need to put the brakes on buying names and read on here for a while. You can argue all you like, but these are not good names.

That's my honest opinion, best of luck (y)

True your right. Well theirs a reason why we both took it and theirs traffic. So maybe just maybe your evaluation on everything was wrong too.
