The design of the page is classic type - I think that you should design it to look much modern as it looks right now. Hard to give opinions of your current website, because there so little information about your website and it's so small website in overall look.
Features to add:
- Live Statistics. It's really important that people can track down their development if they use Typing Test's.
- Create login/register option to people that they can check their Live Statistics, like typing speed, typing accuracy etc. And the statistics should be updated every time once the user has completed one test.
- Create personalized report's to your users how did they succeeded. If they wrote example 66 words in 1 minute without any mistakes, they can share their results to example their social media accounts and challenge their friends.
- Add different test's, like 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minute, 3 minute, 5 minute, and 10 minute - It's really boring to do the same test again and again.
- Add different languages and able to different keyboard layouts like QWERTY (US and UK), Colemak (US and UK), Dvorak, AZERTY, QWERTZ and Numpad (10-key).
- Add example TOP-20 user's who is wrote the most amount of words, TOP-20 for accuracy and TOP-20 for mistakes. That will increase the competition because people always want's to be the number one.
- Add practice mode, so people can practice without tracking stats.
And of course if you want to increase traffic to your website, create Tips page where people can look for good hints & tips how to type faster. Hire an content writer to make articles for you, it cost's only about 10$ per article if you hire a freelancer.
You must too add basic lessons. Almost every Typing Test website has lessons for their users which they can make.
If you want to make something from this website, here is some points which I did find. You need to find more features that your typing test is in the top test's in the internet.
