The results for the first DOMAINX No Reserve Live Domain Name Auction conducted on 27 December, 2018 are available now.

The No Reserve Live Auction is a volunteer initiative by DOMAINX community with NO COMMISSION/FEE charged to buyers/sellers. It was proudly hosted by our very own community leaders and members; Pankaj Vijayvargiya and Sharad Saxena!

9 domain names were selected for No Reserve Live Domain Name Auction by a panel of 5 veteran domain name experts from the Indian domain name investors community, after a rigorous voting and discussion process.

I only quickly read the rules, but as I commented earlier on social media I think this is a very positive development.

I like that they take no cut at all (it is volunteer run), have clear rules and TOS, they have a panel of experts that select the names, any one person is only allowed to submit 5 per month for consideration, they have a secure entry page, I like that they will at least consider any TLD and while I am sure many will be disappointed that their names are not selected, the idea of doing a careful selection so that you are not overwhelmed by an unwieldy number of domain names in each auction will overall be good. Some will not be comfortable with the no reserve / $1 start, but it will get bidding going.

I have never bid or submitted and don't know the organizers, but on the basis of what I have read I give this an A rating and can see it becoming very popular.

But here were have a ground-up organization, organized by respected domainers, spending their time to organize an event, for the benefit of other domainers. I welcome this effort. The premier league will at some point want that premier league. in domain name especially if they could create a football league of that name in India a country with over a billion people

So someone got an absolute bargain although it could be a udrp but I think the cricket league is called Indian premier league or ipl etc so it should be OK but still a great name in an important Cctld
