I backordered this name and got to know it is a registry premium with a pricr of 10k. I have 10 hours to decide. Is this name worthit for resale?

Thats why don't even think about it.

If you're going to invest that kind of money in domains, invest in .com.

imo

if I were you, I'll prefer with pronounceable 4L dot com, because 10k, is not small money :xf.grin:

I wonder if it was a fraction few months ago, before they marked up all the premiums.

I wouldn't pay that for it. Yeah it may be worth 25k or maybe more to the right end user but the risk to reward ratio isn't good especially if 10k is a lot of money for you to have tied up in a single name. It might take 10 years to sell or it might never happen.

If it was 1.5/2k with standard renewals it would be worth a punt maybe but not 10k. Are renewals standard?

As has already been said, 10k can be invested in more liquid names so you can cash out in an emergency.

Good luck!

Do not spend 10k on that.

If you have 10k to invest in domain names seek out advice on this forum for the best way to go about it.

Maybe not to you but its worth more than that to any domainer that knows what they're doing and that's what counts.

I like your idea to invest on short names but consider it's extension which play a big role, I have a rich niche domain in .co(TravelAdvice.co) extension still hoping for sale to come.

Was joking ar0und about the valuation but if develop domain name it can become a business valued a lot higher than $10,000.

I will spend 10k on 4L .com
:xf.smile:

There's a lot more to domain investing than the obsession over 4Ls .

There's the very strong & stable 2 word market, brandable or not, you can do a lot in that with 10k.

There's also the one word market.

Don't miss out by obsessing over 4Ls.

all in .com

just saying.

Who gave you the deadline?

The name shows at $8,999 with no deadline at Godaddy.

idk, if you can sell .co go for it, your better off waiting for someone who needs funds and sells their LLL.com for cash. Good Luck! Excellent name. and like Recons said its at $8999 at gd.
