doesn't make sense to stop future sales that way. If its violent and ugly negotiations then you might want to block this buyer or seller, but, no, you might want to sell in the future and you want the avenues left open for discussions.

Why double standards man?

If you can name and shame a domain name investor when a deal goes sour/rouge, should do the same with an enduser or other person as well.

Should retailers publicly name and shame customers who return items? Should retailers name and shame customers who put items on layaway and fail to return?

What domainer hasn't had a prospective buyer disappear after agreeing to terms? Just like what domainer hasn't had a prospective buyer go cold after quoting a high price.

Should endusers name and shame domain owners who squat on domains for years and insist on ridiculously high prices?

They just sent you offer, it was not auction which they ruined.
Forget them and move on

Maybe a closed group blacklist but not publicly.

That's actually a great idea

Wonder if the mods would allow it in this section where the information is only available to a select group of members?

Out of the public eye but available to any members VIP and above.

Flogging buyers, who back out, is a great way to narrow the market with lasting consequences.

No, we should not publicly flog. There may be many reasons why someone backs out, such as a life changing health diagnosis, divorce etc.

It is much better to be understanding, caring, sympathetic and compassionate verses being revengeful.

Oh, and please don't take my peaceful approach as a weakness, believe me when I say it is a strength gained by experience.

I have a son and a daughter as well, and no I do not have double standards unlike some of you!

I call it as it is bud :)

Forget it and move on is my original thought.

I do like the idea of a closed group list of tyre kickers. If the person has life altering event happen and has to renege on the deal fair enough, but if they are repeat offenders it will be clear to all who these people are and save time in useless negotiations.

Would it still be indexed on Google if it was posted in the insiders lounge?

That one didnt really make sense tbh.. Stop calling yourself a retailer or dreaming to be one. You and I are domain squatters at the end of the day who demands what we feel is the right price of the name, unlike some set industry standard pricing of $9 a piece.

Its like saying whether you should eat food or not. Breathe or not.. Dude, let me fix a deal with you on one of your domain names and than back out right before paying. People like you would be the first to start a thread here shaming me and others about it.

and before anyone shouts double standards at me :xf.smile: - I originally posted against sharing personal information (email & contact details)

Listing a persons name and the date it happened with no rants or sly comments would provide useful data for the community

Why do endusers get a free pass? Most domainers try to honor deals. Maybe if we publicly shamed endusers they would honor more agreements

I do not think publicly shaming someone is professional and could potentially come back to bite you if potential customers see you posting negative comments about people.

If flogged, endusers would not honor more agreements. They would only refuse to enter into agreements.

Full Disclosure: I emailed this enduser a heads up to notify him that he was doxxed. I also invited him to join the forum to share his side.

Noob's like yourself claim they know a whole lot better than others when they question or label somoene's "intent as malicious" without knowing the real deal.

I dont think I need to prove my intent to you but let's see if your "friend", since you are acting as his well-wisher, who backed out of the agreed upon deal joins here and makes a post.

Exactly my point.

This is exactly why I call these so called ethical and professional wannabe's a bunch of opportunists without any set principles.

They are right now crying foul because they are least ethical in their dealings whatsoever. They swing wherever their's money for them to be made without any set standards or ethics.

Disgusting idea really.

Great way to get sued, too.

I would not want to do business with such a vindictive person.
