The entire Florida Cannabis policy is based around CBD with 0 Thc.

Unless things changed ( and they do quickly in this industry ) one plant that only produces Cbd is grown. Charlotte's web.

The market is thriving in Florida with the equivalent of ONE product on the shelf, a liquid CBD that can be used a a limited number of ways. And NOT smoking and or loose bud is one of them.

The notion of THC in cannabis products is moving the other direction infact. About 7 billion in investment, Carona, Coors, Coke a Cola. These players are so confident in Cbd that they are focusing on nationwide rollouts of soft drinks etc with Cbd, using the Farm Bill ( hemp portion ) as a legal basis. That is a Cbd policy not Thc.

Next state to drop; not sure on how this plays out for " new business " and startups. Haven't yet found any ideas on how New Yorks policys will play out. Other than " comparable " to border states the articles say. The closest is naturally NJ ( that didn't pass on this legislative session; this Spring expect approvals ) that has a craft policy. ( 100 plant 100lbs monthly )I see volume in permitted growers; that begins the competitive branding that is directly connected to domain sales.

I challenge you to find me one cannabis plant -- female (the good stuff) or male ("hemp plant") that doesn't have any THC.. and that includes Charlotte's Web.

You will find plants very low in THC (ie. Charlotte's Web), but not 0..

Even male plants (or, hemp plants) have small amounts of THC.

And whoever mentioned that CBD comes from hemp plants is incorrect. CBD and THC of varying amounts are both found in female plants. While CBD is also found in male plants, the amount of THC is considerably lower than female plants.

Of course cbd comes from the hemp plant. This is the exact reason why the farm bill is awesome. To legalize the hemp plant is to legalize CBD. It’s a game changer and has nothing to do with thc or marijuana.

Why would I smoke something with no thc? We’re talking about where cbd comes from. It’s taken from the hemp plant and that’s a well known fact.

You’re correct that traditional pot plants contain cannabidiol. The idea though is to breed strains that don’t contain thc, or as little as possible. This is hemp, for lack of a better term.

And yes, it looks just like the weed you would smoke.

The 'idea' varies depending on which side of the industry you are on. The government licensed producers (LP's) want nothing but the female plants.

The glory of the it all is that we chose a very multi-faceted industry, and we can all agree that it is still in it's infancy. I hope we all meet our personal cannabis domaining goals.

That's not a bad price for oil. I'm not big on cbd myself, but always keep some cbd weed on hand in case I have calls or meetings I need to attend that day.

I'm curious what your hemp flower experience will be. I'm assuming you'll get lots of seeds?

I don't know if I'd want to smoke it. Cook with it maybe? Make oil? I just picked up a Magical Butter (magicalbutter.com), so it has given me new appreciation for the lower quality stuff that I don't want to smoke.

Seen something similar. Every company calls them something different. Look up 'moon rocks thc'

The dispensaries I use have them for $35-40/g.. I might grab one next time I'm in. Stay tuned for pics.

The big picture here is the 7BIlliion going into a " CBD " fun fizzy 0 calorie 0 hangover beverage. Ask Coke; Smirnoff ; Carona and Coors Brewing etc. what the semantics of what fun aka " CBD " will ultimately translate too.

It will translate into millions and millions of consumers being completely taken adavatage by these Mega Corps. That’s where this is going. Could u imagine the lack of quality control at this level ? The amount of HEMP that’s going to be needed to be grown is mind boggling at the least . Then the brake down aspect . The extraction process that’s going to go into place for these mega crops , it’s going to be shite ! junk products that only have one true motive from these big corps. Dollars . They don’t give a fwack about missleasing the masses. Any way. Go Jets !

Guys, it becomes classified as hemp if it has less than 0.3% THC.
