I was going through a real estate magazine I picked up during a recent trip to Cartagena, Colombia and noted the domain extensions used by various real estate agencies or developers in the magazine. I cannot recall if I picked it up in a grocery store or perhaps the hotel or maybe in a mall I visited. Several advertisers did not mention a website - just a phone number or email address. For those which mentioned a website, ten were using .Com domains though many were brandable perhaps with the Spanish word real estate or an abbreviation of it in the domain name. Seven were using a cctld domain though I consider both .co and .com.co as a cctld for Colombia. None used .Net or .Org or any new TLD. The one which had the best domain from a geo domainer perspective - InmbiliariaCartagena.Com

What about the Andriod APP and IOS ? Do those restaurant and hotel were having their our apps ?

You didn’t mention the Facebook.com/empresaABCDE icon and links, they are in store windows everywhere in Latin America. Besides numerous “[email protected]” type of contact ads. I see fewer and fewer small business websites really since Facebook became popular. Latest Behavior is to use Facebook for menu and photos and UberEats to deliver often on Bike or Moto’s, daily see lots of food in transit, taking over for restaurant ads btw too. If a website even exists it depends on company size and market and always .Com or the ccTLD’s.

Yes, in Spanish-speaking markets it is very common to find social media profiles with no corresponding domain name. While I do have what I believe are some rather nice domains (either geo real estate or geo TV) in markets such as Bogota, Medellin, Cali, Barranquilla, Santa Marta and Cartagena, I view Cartagena as a city I could potentially live in one day and so maybe I do not really want to sell any Cartagena domains at the moment. From what I understand Medellin and Santa Marta are also very nice cities to visit. There are ample YouTube videos on these cities and I will mention Life Afar as a YouTube channel / Instagram profile worth checking out.
